Recently a spy got into my guild (which happnes to almost all guilds of 300+) but this guy droped 5 houses after lieign to a militia member for zoning and blocked the only way in and out of my city except the shuttle port. Many of my members can't get to thier houses and non rebel members can't leave the city if they are banned. I submited a ticket and am stillw aitign for a responce but am I the only oen that thinks this is a low exploit?

well, here lies a few problems... from what you're describing, I'm going to assume that you have those houses where it forms a wall, and you intentionally left an opening out. fencing in your city like so can get your city into trouble, however the person who placed the houses that closed the gap probably won't be responsible, whoever it in charged of the city will.

solution? ask someone else in that wall to move their house. houses aren't intended to be able to be placed so close to each other, and as the devs mentioned in fanfest they will fix it.

Chances are the "wall" of the city was probably from the result of cross server lot trades. And if that is the case then ouch Good luck trying to create a new chokepoint into your city.

This issue interests me as in my city, there's a house left by a ex-guild member that I would like removed.. the ex-member no longer comes to the city so I can not ban the person. Is there any course of action I can take to have this building removed?

Other than asking politely for them to move it? Nope.

The only possible solutions I see at this point are:

1. I keep 5 lots free and drop houses for new members...God love'm but sometimesthey can be nerve wracking.

2.A condemn structure option(which has been discussed on many occasions.) But due to misplaced priorities and TERRIBLE planning this will likely not happen until we are all gone.

The problems associated with this are minimal to say the least. I drove around the planet my city is on and looked at the various cities. The problems I see are this "cross-server lot trading" which basically make a ghost town active for a limited few players...thus dissabling any posibility in this decade for any active guild to advance. Don't get me started on this one as I am VERY bitter. Ok the House walls.........looks cool, and creates the bottleneck........I agree with the devs...this is not intended. I hope the knotheads that did this in your city spontaniously combust

If there truly is no way to get to these houses, CSRs will move them to make a way in. For that matter, can't you have one of the other house owners move their house? Then you could get to all of the other ones.

Blocking access to houses is considered griefing. Something should be able to be done.

Wow, I can't believe that happened. I am really sorry to hear that they did that Eakon, as you know I was once in that guild and left when the original leadership (which had been out of game for months) started proposing things like that. Although you know you did a similar thing in which you dropped random houses in that guild's city back when I was there, and left what I felt were inappropriate titles demeaning the city and insulting the citizens, but it does not at all compare to this, blocking access to city structures and the ability to even enter ones homes to get items.

Well, I wish that people stopped using homes to grief other players like what happened when you dropped those homes, or when one of Red Fist (I'm no longer associated with them) did this most recent act to your city or even the other drama on our server Ahazi with homes lately. So I wish you good luck in your work to get the removed, but I hope that you keep in mind that doing similar things like using houses to insult other players, may get this sort of thing in retaliation, although I totally do not agree with that kinda of tactic, I see it more and more popular as payback for people doing it to them. This is why I left that guild because they proposed such tactics and I consider ALL people who do this thing, using houses as weapons griefers and cheaters and not worth anyones time in game or out of game.

Good luck with this and contact me in game if you want to talk or anything of that nature
