So what is the reasoning behind this?
probably the same reasoning that image designers do not have player tents.

LOL
The only reason for that is so that IDs will have to congregate in the static tents making them easy to find............. ID is a service profession........... SW is a product profession................. it's completely different.

It's allready a short drive to master. Last thing they want is a trainer outside a players resource stock pile house. I mean, as it is I have a crafting driod and can stand in front of the trainer till I run out of resources. It's a feeble attemt to slow us down....IMO

If that is the intent... it is a stupid means of doing so........... if they want to slow down SWs from mastering (what's the point in the first place?), just increase the xp needed.

no it's not... You have to go to a busy NPC city to find a stat migration and you need to go to a busy NPC city to find a Ship wright! It's bs
I agree there is no reason SW trainners can't be dropped. player SS crafting stations are able to be dropped in player house so.. where's the trainers... lol

Here's what I do - I craft in my yacht. I fly up, craft - land at the starport right next to the trainer...train and go back up again.

I do not need to go to a busy NPC city to find a SW. I have more than one in the player city in which I live.

come on now are you really complaining about this. They're only at the entrance to every major starport how much easier to you want it. If you can't handle the short walk to the trainer then I don't know what your gonna do with the profession. There are many more valuable things that we should be concentrating on than getting trainers put outside our front doors.

I am complaining because there is no purpose. I am not taking up SW, but if we let the Devs do stupid things, they will only be encouraged to do more stupid thinkgs in the future.

That's a great idea, but it still does not flow with the rest of the design of the game. There is no reason not to have SW trainers in player cities.
