Thread: What happens if the mayor drops novice politician?

I'm sure this was asked before, but I can't find it.
I know that if you drop high level politician skills, things like cantinas and shuttleports stay...you just can't move them again.
What happens if the mayor drops novice politician altogether though?

he is still mayor according to some report.. but also there might be a chance that the city hall might go poof.

now... i want the next person that responds in this thread to provide links as evidence. i deal in facts, not opinions. if you aren't going to do that, don't bother responding at all.

well gee..... I'm just trying to be helpful here... there been a bit of people "claim" to drop novice politician... but how are you going to test that without destroying a city???
If you give me 2 million credits on lowca.. I'll get another character and test that out.. cause it is not going to be cheap.. need a deed, 10 testing people with houses and a week.
but in my theory... with current system you will stay mayor since there are no way to remove yourself other than votes.

and if you read the whole thing.. I am willing to use my alt to TEST if for you.. since NO ONE ELSE responded...
do you ever read the whole thing?????? sheesh.. think about it for a second here.. you are talking about million of credits and hours to go into a city... and a possible chance of destruction.. no one in their right mind would do such a thing unless they want to destroy a city (or chance it) .... so.. I am proposing that we test this theory and resolve it once and for all.....

1. posting opinions about what you heard some guy say
2. making wild demands

well.. I hardly consider myself a noob.. but thanks for the one star 
I hate to tell ya.. but I been working with the politician class since day one... we even successfully (with work) transfer the mayorship to one player to another.... I have tested practically everything there is to test with the politician and civic structure except two...
destruction of the hall and dropping novice politician... fearing the destruction of our city..
The demand is not wild.. think of the cost??? we would need to put in 1 week maint into the city hall... purchase 10 small homes and 1 city hall deed.. and get 10 people to move in.... I am proposing a test out this theory...
if the city stays.. cool... no problem.. if the city is destroy.. at least you didn't destroy your real city...
it is a proposal for a test bed if you will.. not a demand for it...
sometimes I wonder who is the noob here...

you are the n00b. go get your coorespondent or a dev in here to answer a question like that. don't go run a test like that yourself.
i doubt its unknown though. you just dont know it yourself, and you come into my thread with your opinions and wild demands and big talk about how 1337 you are and that if you don't know it, it is unknown... FOREVAR!
face it n00b, you just don't known much about politician. why don't you admit it, instead of wasting my time by coming in here with your opinions.

Geez, how dense are you?
The first guy said in the first post that there have been people who have said they stay mayor, but there is a chance the city hall will be destroyed. What more of an answer do you need?

well.. I never claim to be "l33t" or whatever that mean.... I am stating that I have tested a lot of things with cities... this question has been ask many times (I did do a search for you.. trying to get a Dev tag or Correspondant tag) on the answer.. but frankly.. they don't have it...
as for other politician across from many servers... a lot of said.. they don't want to risk their own cities... it is a risky chance... now.. I have not seen a post on this forum on a gutsy politician who DID do this... even if they did.. what kind of proof you need to show that they did instead of saying that they did...
sometimes in life you just have to test thing yourself.. I am willing to donate some to the cause (as my other post above) since other politician (thus far in this forum) have not post anything regarding this issue.
If someone did post it.. then I'll truly know on this question.. but if you have OTHER questions regarding the politician tree or architect or aquarium... I know the answer to those.. that is about it
