Player Cities

  • City banned players can no longer travel to the banned city by selecting "Use Travel Ticket" from the ticket's radial menu or by using the ticket from the toolbar
  • Garage Fee/tax should be displayed in the City Status window now.

Player Structures

  • Fixed an issue where players were able to stick naboo medium style 1 house right up against each.

I'm still getting things set up on TC and will try to contact someone in an existing Player City to /cityban me so I can confirm that everything is working as it should be on the fix for shuttling. If you are on Ahazi, please take a few moments to log into TC-Ahazi and confirm this check as well. Please post here with your findings. Thanks!!

Oh no... -most- of mycity conforms to "frontier town chaos" and I like it -fine- that way. It would drive some mayors nutz...

However... there is one neighborhood run by a guild that is very neat and orderly. Two facing rows of Naboo mediums, closely packed. Nice garden in the center, guild hall at far end (just on the edge of town)...

This issue... is being fixed...

TC came down before I really had a chance to look around. I think I'll have to find someone to /cityban me, though. LOL

And yet the elections are still broke, militia is still broke, no abilty to remove strutures that are inactive. I am not impressed...again this is a band-aid. Detect a bit of bitterness? YOU BETCHA! After 7 months as a rank II city, I know I've earned it.

I still haven't found anyone who's elections are actually broke yet....So far all the ones I've seen are simply a miscalculation of the election end date. If you have more information on it, please provide it in the stickied thread about elections.

We've been asking for this fix for a long time. This essentially fixes the /cityban command to working as intended. While we may want it to do more, at least it will be *working*.

Player Cities are not top priority right now, and there are professions in much worse shape than us. This may only be one fix out of many possible fixes, but it's one more than we had last publish. Maybe this is just a "band-aid", but at least it takes care of one of our scrapes.

I would love to be able to delete the bug thread in our stickies and say it's all fixed. Realistically, though, those fixes aren't going to come overnight. They're going to take time and documentation and /bug reporting by us. It's like the old saying....How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

I love your positive attitude, the glass is always half full. I must say though, since the beginning of the game...yup I was there, Instead of fixing what was broken, they pushedlive publish after publish onto the community KNOWING they were not ready. This is one of the few games I've played that is constantly in a state of beta. testing. I'm sorry but crap tastes like crap no matter howya sugar coat it. Exactly what are the priorities you spoke of? That is the million dollar question, I honestly do not think even they know. Politician is not as broken as lets say Smuggler? Commando? and yes Jedi. I would seriously suggest going back to their roots and work out bug fixes prior to truddging forward and introducing more garbage. I want to be positive Khristen, you just don't know how much I want to love this game.......but I know these folks' track record, and it is unsatisfactory. I have posted till my heart is content about bugs. With the shoddy CSR's (almost extinct might I add) it is a wonder this game is actually playable anymore. I do know this.....SOE does not care about its customers, that is a fact. But I hear no complaints when that credit card deducts each month. I guess therein lies the problem. Oh and one other thing...about player cities...not being a top priority? To whom? Them? I am to only assume this is that middle finger being thrust intothe face of Politicians yet again. Thanks for your time.

PS the reason cityban is not as effective as it once was, they (CSR's got a little testy when players would either kill them or city ban them )

Any ideas on how they are resolving this? I have nightmare visions of cities suddenly being shuffled about whilst we sleep Dark City style and banging into other stuff. Or houses suddenly shrinking...

I would say without exaggeration that there are easily 100 medium naboo houses in my city that are currently side-by-side touching walls... I am well beyond concerned about this.

I believe I caught a dev at Fanfest after hours that mentioned that they would be passable in between the homes. Meaning they would physically stay there, but you could walk through the middle of the two. But then again, much was consumed that evening lol.
