Thread: how do i make a city
Yep keep this one up the board and let the other sink to oblivion (or how you always call that in english
)
/bump
rofak I think I speak for more of us if I say: 'shut up'. You are only making you less popular and if you are realy that anoyed by helping people then don't. But don't post such commands in threads where you just offend people. Maybe I'll just report your post to a moderator if someone else hasn't done it yet.
That is all I tell you untill you come up with some more polite post and constructive ones, breaking down is easy. Try to build up something and you will notice it isn't that easy.
Ok, let me put it more... 'constructively'. Being a mayor requires a certain amount of responsibility and organization. In order to make a large, productive town, you must posess those qualities. Typing errors and simple mistakes, like 'i' rather than 'I',and other things like not putting a question mark after a questiontend to make people take you less seriously, and also your ability less seriously.
Creating a town is not a joyride. It is lots of hard work, but your finished product, your productive town is rewarding. Don't ask for a handout, someone to guide you through it. Asking for advice, however, after searching, is totally feasible.
And I presume you write dutch as good as your english? Or maybe french? Not everyone is a native speaker, including me. My mothertongue is dutch and still I write error in dutch. This is something you see like that but I want to see you post a lot in an other language than your own without errors.
And for the 'i' and 'I', more than 70% type the small 'i'. Why? Because people are lazy these days and don't hit the shift when typing. And this include myself most of the time.
Maybe I'm going to pay an english instructor to correct your post onerrors, and don't tell me you don't make any. Because I won't believe you, nobody is perfect and you aren't nobody (how pitty it is).
Forgot to say: in one point you have right. A city is hard work, and it needs a lot of attention, but for so far I know everyone has to start somewhere and there is no ultimate guide to a good city. Every mayor take an other route and the citizens will be diferent also.
But you can help someone to find his way to start, and that is what the original posters ask. The thread title reads 'how do i make a city'. Answer is simple, get some friend (10) and put down a townshall and let the others declare residense. This is a much better answer than just flame away. Sometimes I have the feeling people can't do anything else than flaming.
I have to admit that I have flamed before as well as everyone has done. But mostly of the time there is an explaination for the flame. And it is hard to not flame because everyone reads your post different than you tried to put down. Not everyone is the same.
