now the answer to the questions we've been waiting for... not the answers I was hoping for, but here they are:

We made no changes to these for the CU.

- when will sales tax be fixed, are there any plans to make current taxes more reliable, and will there be more income sources for cities (such as cities gaining a fraction of income from trainers, cloning center, mission terminals, etc)?

I've informed them that "no change" to the specializations means that a bunch of them with outdated mods became useless, and hopefully they'll get it fixed some time. They were in a thread titled "Top 3 questions from your profession / community", so I was taken aback when some of these answers came back to be "this isn't CU-related". I'm not happy with them myself, but there's nothing I can do to change things

As for what's happening in my city - nothing. I'm still shutting down and moving out. ![]()

that was part of their plan for the purge so folks don't just lose their stuff... however we're not getting "when will it occur" answered
Guess that answers the question of what works and what doesn't. If the mod is gone, the specialization is useless at this point in time.
I'll update the guide and FAQ to reflect this information over the next few days. And the Bug List....might as well report them as bugged since they don't work.

I was disappointed considering how many times I posted about specializations on the corr forum. I started asking about it during the summit last August, but apparently we still got left out
Don't give up! Keep bugging them for us. (Just don't get fired lol)
