Thread: No XP Given. Their Records Say It Was...
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I won the last election, but never got my 5500 xp. I kindly fill in a support request and they kindly respond letting me know I'm wrong.
I've asked them to tabulate all XP I SHOULD have received from day 1 (easy to do since I've been the only mayor in our city) and see if that matches up with what I have. Any chance they're going to do this or am I(and the residents of our city)screwed?

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I replied to the ticket with a list of the xp I've received and what I have spent it on. Less than 24 hours later, I had an in-game CSR tell me that they have no way of checking whether I got the xp or not, and that they would reimburse the xp this once and never again.
Now, although I am happy that I got the xp, and didn't want to be rude to the CSR in case he didn't give it to me, I feel that this is not acceptable. Why should we have to suffer for the errors that they made, and the inadequacies in their system of record keeping/data retrieval?
What if they make the same mistake next week and I don't get my xp again? As well as being disadvantaged, I would have no recourse for reimbursement.
Politician is not like other skills, its not just a matter of one person's time. At this crucial developmental stage, it affects all the citizens of the city, as well as influencing the future of another entity, the city itself.
Also, I get (population-1)*100xp every week. I included this detail in the ticket. The CSR refused to consider it, and only reimbursed me 6300xp for this week as well, even though I had 64 citizens at the time of the election processing (and more now). What is the official word on this? The post I read by Plinka about XP reimbursement by CSRs specially mentioned regular XP loss as separate to the "missing 100". Are we entitled to this 100, and is there an official post on it I can refer the next CSR to?

The only trouble I have had was the first update when we were all shorted 100exp. I did get that returned but it was not easy. I had to pull a post by Plinka from the 4 page of the message board where he quoted GreenMarine from another message. Took too long for a lowsy 100exp but at the time that 100exp let us place terminals.

I'll definitely be by soon to see how the city's coming along and what you have in stock.
hehe sorry guys... I waited till one day before the election for the secnd week... open a ticket and 2 days after the second election an ingame CSR contacted me and informed me he was checking on it... a few minutes later he asked how much xp I had made a change and I was awarded my missing 100 xp.
I honestly haven't had a problem with pol exp outside of that first week bug.
Here's a suggestion to you guys.. when you open tickets try not to scream and yell and whatever it is that you do to get such terrible responces from the CSRs.
I have open approximately 5 or 6 tickets since starting with SWG and, although I never appreciate the many days wait for a reply, I have never really had an issue with any of the CSRs and have seen nothing of these horror stories everyone complains about when they meet with CSRs
Maybe it's just me, I 'm not accusing anyone of anything only relaying my personal experiences... when you open a ticket, try to be humble.. ask for help don't demand it, and when a CSR comes to you, remember he/she has to deal with more screaming hotheads than just you... so if you start reaming them from the word go don't expect them to do any more than they absolutely have to or to "remember" the 2 line memo about restoring your 100xp

If you like, I'll copy and paste what it was that I sent and I can assure you that I do not scream and yell. So here's a suggestion to you, leave advice like that off unless I come on here ranting and raving first and maybe it looks like this rule might apply to me.
panda, if you ahd read the rest of my post, that was general advise to all that may read this.. I wasn't singling you out and only relaying my personal experiences.
Maybe I've been lucky, but I can guarantee you I've never had an issue with any CSR's and have even had missing objects moved and removed while not ingame, such as fallen mission terminals and walled furniture... something I've been told on these forums would never happen.

I've had numerous good things happen too. They've given me the 100xp that was missing. They replaced resources used in some crates that were producing items with no attributes. But those were fixed... I shouldn't have to list every good thing they've done for me when bringing a problem to light.
I think at times it might be right to bring up the point you made, like if I came in here like
-------------------
THATS IT! IVE HAD IT WITH STUPED CSRsss!!!! I GAVE THEM A PIECE OF MY MIND!!!!!!!!
-------------------
but I even specifically said I kindly mentioned my problem...
hehe maybe not but in my inherent wisdom I mispelled padawan as well I'm such a freak sometimes...
but yes if you had come on here saying that you would have gotten a responce in kind from me and directed at you.
