is anyone still getting the sales tax bug? since I was gone for a few days and haven't heard from them, I'm thinking of starting another small riot on the corr forum. before doing that, let me make sure they haven't stealth-fixed it while I'm gone... is everyone still getting that bug? if you are, please reply to this thread.
if your city is but you haven't followed the directions here and send Nesh/me an email yet, please do so ASAP
edit: wow, I have no grammar at 2am. I need to reintroduce myself to this "typing" thing...

I dont think my cities taxes have been going into the treasury since it went up
And weve been on lok since player cities went live. I mean like the day they went live.

sry for noob question - iam new at politican (btw my 2nd char is) is it right that a rank 1 city cant set taxes?! Every week i must pay 44k for the outpost. When i try to set taxes - th terminal says the city needs rank 2 - is that really correct?!

Yes, we still have the sales tax issue.
No stealth fix. If one went in, you'd have seen us doing cartwheels and stuff.

I got a CSR response saying that the ONLY way to get your Sales tax to work is if you set it to 10%. No other ammount will work.

that should be interesting, since the response I got from devs was completely different...
take that with a grain of salt. I'll post the official response about this bug when I get it
in the mean time, set it to however much extra you want your merchants to get

I opend a ticket and the CSR looked in all the logs. Confirmed property and inclme taxes were going in. He also confirmed from looking at the vendor transaction logs for the city that sales tax was NOT being sent to the treasury.
