Thread: The Drama Continues...

If you are the mayor, you have way more power than the guild. How hard would it be to drop your own guild hall in the same city and stage civil war? Just a thought! Also as a mayor, disband the militia except those that support you directly, and see who has to jump through hoops then? If they all leave then GREAT! you can start your own guild and keep your city and run it as you please.
Why the HELL are you letting yourself get pushed around? The Mayor holds all the marbles. and before you even attempt to do this, drop a BIG HUNK OF STATUE over the voting terminal rendering it USELESS and not allowing someone to run against you. This way you cant get out voted. Then DROP ANOTHER PA hall and see who kisses who's butt at that point.
Then, if you need to keep your city alive and at level, i have 3 words for you RECRUIT NEW PLAYERS!
Unstrap the child seat and get in the driver seat, its time to make the big boys cry!
Dude that is a bannable offence and i would not try this if you are reported for this...and crs will come into game and delete the statue...and migh ban the mayor!!!!
So if you want to get even you could do the militia thing if you like and "lock" the guild out of the city by not alowing any of there NEW members to place new houses or structures in the city....and even baning the NEW members of the guild from all city buildings....if they have angered you that much......But the statue over the terminal is an exployt and will get you into trouble.....all of the other actions are perfectly alowed in game. (the CITY IS THE MAYORS) but can be voted out by the members if they can kick you out).
But also a day before you lose the vote you can destroy the whole city if you wish.. although that is a very bad think to do its your right as the building and the city is your property...but it really is an underhanded thing to do..
BUT ALSO dont forget its yours.....so in the end you can do what ever you want..and the leaders of the guild im sure are aware of that.
I myself am guild leader and mayor of my city...and everyone in the guild and city knows that my city is my city and if somone ever runs up against me in my city without my permission will lose or never get my city....why??? Because I'm an Imperial Dictator and my guild of all imperials know the first 2 rules of our guild...#1. if you are in our guild you are imperial!!! and #2. what i say goes PERIOD...(when it comes to guild matters)
All my officers report to me alown....but i respect them all and listen to there ideas but in the end the final say is mine...that might sound a little power trippy...but really i think it one of the reasons that my 1 year 3 month old guild is still around while i have watched countless other guild s fall apart.. Guilds with 2 or 4 or 10 leaders.....never work(or almost never work) because conflicting ideas (and it only takes one) TO RIP A GUILD INTO 2...or into nothingness....i have seen it far to many times.
So my fellow mayor....YOU alown have the power...over your city...if your guild is not helping you or making rash dicisions and kicking you based on one sided remarks......then it will be up to you to final dicision wether or not the city will still be there tomorrow.....although i know its hard to lose a city....if you built it once.. you can do it again.....and maybe the next time around the members of your city...or guild will understand that you are in charge.....
You see in my guild of 130+ all my members know they have 2 choices... #1. listen to me and do as i ask....(and i dont ask all that much of them). or option #2. Leave my city and guild....and i have seen many people come and go in my guild....and to tell you the truth at our peak we where at 200+ then we dropped to about 80 after i went offline for about 2 months (off and on 1 day a week for maint) .....and now we are back up to about 130+ and about 70% of the people that left the guild when i left....either stopped playing....or have re-joind us..because they learned buy them selves thatalot of guild have poor leadership...(or for the ones that made there own) figured out after along time..."WOW BEING A GUILD LEADER IS A PAIN IN THE @$$"
I would have to say there are not to manypeople out there that can run a large guild well....its alot of work and time.....

I've been in the game/guild since the begining, so my friends are in the upper eschelon of the guild. I also love being Mayor, and of a major metropolis on Naboo. City caps means if I started a new city I would most likely have to start on another planet, and if I do start on Naboo, with city caps it will be forever until it reaches metropolis status. The head of the guild would be more then happy to take on being politican. Or more correctly, to have one of her close friends take on the role. The guild leader has supported twice now, the same person running against me for Mayor. While the majority of the rest of the guild leadership support me. So the guild and city have been forced into being divided. Hopefully things will mend, and I hope they realize that what I'm doing. I could have destroyed the city/caused alot of problems for the guild when they kicked me out. But I didn't. I worked with the leadership to get back in. Which I think says alot about my character. Yet I'm sure they will call me untrustworthy, etc...

If they call you untrust worthy and attempt to over through you as mayor then the Guild LEADER(s) are power tripping on you....at that time then i would pull the plug on the city....because if they are going to let you back in the guild just to double cross you and vote you out...then they will kick you out after that im sure...and total victory for them.....I'f i where you i would keep an eye on the voting terminals..as im sure if they vote you out they will do it behind your back or without your knowlage.
So i would be on guard!!!
