One of the people in my guild brought up today he thought there was a limit of 200 people in a PA. Well we are at 209 people but got me wondering if there is a limit on the number of Players

Yes, there is a limit of 500 players in a PA. You still have a ways to go yet.

it is 213 now. Told them that they had to slow down recruiting people, we only had room for 287 more.

lol. Just wondering are quite a few inactive or are all your members fairly active. Also how many of these are actualy alts?

I would say atleast 75% log in once a month or more. The majority of the guild has Alts.

That I really couldn't answer. I don't think it really matters though as I've yet to see many 500 people guilds (that have all active members).

Just asking because I've started an Imperial Guild merge...
If I had to guess as to why there was a limit, it would probably be to prevent "Super Guilds" basically one guild of 2000 people dominating a server or something to that effect, but it's just a guess. If you actually manage to hit the cap, I'd suggest just forming a second guild to continue the growth.
