Thread: Bug: Are is anyone else having the same?
As for the sponsoring portion.. if you have permissions it should come up without a problem. Sometimes it does get lagged and might take a couple tries for the radial option to come up though.
First of all, I am always outside before I try to grant zoning rights. I had to learn that the hard way first couple times i tried it.
Second, In our guild there is not seperate recruiting and sponsoring people. If you are granted the promotion, you can do both. I tried to pull up the menu like 10 times over a 20 minute time frame and it never had the option listed. However I could go to our member listing and I could see it plain as day that I was still listed as a recruiter and sponsorer. The same with the city hall I went over to it just to see if I had been removed from the militia and nope I was still listed as militia.
Last night I tried to sign up some members and it did this to me. There was another guy in the city with the same permissions so I hollared at him to try it just to make sure it wasn't something with me. He had the same problems as I, couldn't recruit or grant zoning rights.
Sorry, I know this sounded like I wass being defensive and smart arsy. Truely not intended. Just wondering if anyone else was having the same troubles.

As for zoning.. I haven't had any trouble. But I'd go post in the Politician forum and check with them about it. I don't stay up to date on their forum very often, but they can tell you if others are having the problem or not and might be able to help you. I think when he said Pol, he meant politician.
Also I ment maybe the person who gave the permission missed sponser off as title and ranks are given by the players and do not automaticly give permission (have to be done 1 by 1 and maybe one was missed off) but you said that 2 of you couldnt do it. So i dont know. Do all the other things on the term work? Also try stepping back from it and trying again, you never know.
Edit: Bah, Rothin beat me too it

Ok Rothin. I will check on that next time our guildmaster is on.

Just to make sure, just because you have a title or have been told you have the permissions doesn't actually mean you do. Have your guild leader verify that you have BOTH sponsor and accept still and that somehow the permissions didn't get removed. You'll need to check that first as I can still recruit and so can my guild and others apprently, so I just want to double check.

I know what you mean about spelling. I have trouble from time to time spelling simple words. Guess it is just old age catching up with me slowly by slowly.
Yeah as far as recruiting and accepting you have to recruit, wait 30 seconds or so, and then accept (or sponsor however you want to put it) that person. I have already done it several times so I know the process. It just isn't giving me the option to do it right now.
Actually, last night I got a tell from a guy and he told me that our guildmaster had toldhim to contact me IG. They had been talking on the forums. So she may not be aware of it either.

also, has your GL been changed even just once during the elections bug fiasco? if so, all permissions for all members would have reset to nothing for everyone.
Ah Ha. I don't think our guildmaster has been on since the publish went live. She has been super busy the last couple days IRL. By GL, do you mean city level, group level (what do you mean by that), or something else?
The city was set for upgrade last night but it did happen until after I had tried to sign this guy up.

I know I've changed leadership in my guild before (to another person to test with manual transfer, and once before between my accounts) and the permissions never reset for me. I'm curious, is this something new with Publish 17 or the hotfix?
I haven't heard of permissions resetting when leadership changes, except those of the former leader. I'm going to try this tonight with my guild and see what happens.
