Whoa momma! We charge 14k per person (25ish) per week. However, we currently have a gigantic treasury built up.

I run a guild based on donations. I have gotten enough donations to never have to worry about the PA hall. I think I would like to have a taxation system in place because I am sure that my PA could use the extra funds for PA advancements. I am not going to go out of my way to collect taxes/dues though.

It would be fun to have a taxation for the Pa. But we will fixed that with our City. The city is own by our PA so we will add the maintenance cost of the Pa hall to the city maintenance and do a taxation that will cover all the fees.

What could be good is to have a weekly maintenance instead of and hourly one.

What could be good too is to have a donation option in the Pa hall so that any members can give monney and see the maintenance pool like the city hall.

Right now we are only 10 members out of 60 that as access to the maintenance pool. It would be good if anyone in the pa can make a donation to the PA.

Have a good day!

My PA runs on donations as well. In general, profitablecrafters are encouraged to donate a percentage of their profits.

To expand on our dues...they cover all the maintenancefor guild buildings andguild resources. We have a resource pool that is open to all and all members give 6 lots to the guild for harvesters. The dues go towards maint on these harvesters. The guild also provides a small houses and allows for bigger houses to be bought at a discount. We have (well had...we lost our AS and WS) masters in all crafting fields and they give part of their profitsand free products to the guild. We also have a doctor for buffing and plenty of medics and dancers. Since we have so many masters, we can train in almost any skill for free. All in all the system seems to work, but with the loss of the WS and AS people kinda wonder where the money goes. So 14k for free resources and free supplies isn't a bad deal, but there is a potential for breakdown. I belong to a second, loosely bound, guild in which we have 2k per week dues and everytihng else (maint on PA hall, resources, ec.)is donation based. Both have their pluses and minuses, but both seem to work well.

Nope, I basically pay for all the maintenance. I dropped the hall and a friend got almost all the resources for it so we could get it made practically free. Others are starting to donate now so that is great and I'm glad for it but when it comes down to it I dont mind being the sole supporter of the guild. Now when we get a City hall with a few other PA's in our town that isn't gonna hold true for that. I'm not paying for the entire city that would just be ludicrous.

my boyfriend and I pay for the maintenance. Guildmates will offer help when they remember but its not in the front of their mind. A guild bank or a way to them to donate funds without me being online would be nice.

Our retail enterprise has paid for most everything the guild needs. A few times people will have dropped donations in to the PA Hall and the first days we had a City Hall up saw about 500k of donations. Nothing big.

From the beginning, we've moved resources in-house at deep discounts to finance our crafter's efforts. Just enough for the people harvesting to make a profit, and cheap enough for the crafters to have a nearly unlimited supply of grind and production material. Profits from retail sales (after expenses)get plowed back into the PA.

The city, while only having a few vendors in it yet (going to move the retail operation when we place a shuttleport) is self sufficient with a 5% sales tax and 5% property tax.

I fund the PA Hall and City Hall, being a Weaponsmith with little personal needs has helped immensely.

Charging an extra 1% to City taxes isn't a bad idea though.
