Thread: Important For all Guild Leaders!

As everyone knows the NDA for JTL Beta has been lifted....and as some may know that the multi-player ships will take up lots due to the fact they can hold 75 items (equalivent to a lot 1 house/merchant tent)


The major problem with this, suppousedly the veteran pleasure yacht reward will too take up a lot. For most of the SWG players, this is no big deal - but to us guild leaders, especially those with the Non-tatooine guild halls...this could have a significant affect on gameplay (or at least hinder enjoyment in JTL or factory use on ground for example).


In Beta, I've been looking over this for a few days now, I have found either a kickback from the devs or a bug...which when you claim the veteran reward (the yacht) your lot number total goes up to 11, if this is intended...there may not be anything to worry about, if this is a bug....not only will non-tatooine gu hall guild leaders be forced to either give up their veteran reward for an upgradeable and combat worthy Multiplayer ship, orbe forced to allocate the guild hall to another character. Currently, the number of multiplayer ships one can own is 2.


So I ask...what is the dev response on this issue? Will there be a guild hall lot reduction to 7 (like the tat hall) shortly after JTL? Or is this 1 extra lot thing with the luxary yacht intended? This will be an annoying hinderance to most of us, who use that 1 extra lot to place factories, harvestors, etc.

I also would like the lots on all PA halls dropped to 7, they still have just 250 storage, and that is alot less per lot then any other structure.


This is a pretty big issue with me, being I have just 1 lot to spare, and use that as a personal storage.

haven't really thought about this. if it is indeed like this, then the guild hall owners are in trouble. let's hope it will be adressed as you say

This is a major concern to me as well. If I have to choose between a reward, a fully functional ship of the line to fight with my friends in, or my PA...well what the hell kind of a choice is that to be forced on us. Now I was more then happy to take on the burden and can live with theinability to have multiple homes since storage is not that big of a deal to me. However why should I be penalized in space because of that? Why can't it be 1 "space lot" for the multi-player ships that way I can actually fight with friends up top and keep the veteran reward that I've been looking forward to. Why am I being gated for following the game's rules and playing as intended instead of cheating the system and lot swapping our PA hall to free me up?

Well, they updated it in latest patch on the beta, all guild halls will now be 7 lots, but is unclear on how to acheave this with current halls. One note says you have to re-dead, the other says you have to pay maint, and loose ALL band, admin, etc.

Hello corrospondent, wich is it, and are you actually checking into this, less then 4 days left for answers that work.

the note I got was that it would reset after you go thru a maintainance cycle.

in case any of you are interested, the other two fixes would be "broken shuttleport when shuttle tax set to 0", and "structure factory will now take up only 1 lot."

Sorry for the confusing patch notes.Whenit wasfirst implemented it, you had to redeed and replace the thing in order to transfer it.



Other kings said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp.


Then we decided that was terrible, and made it automatically convert by transferring the house from yourself to yourself, with the unfortunate side-effect of transferring ownership of the guildhall to the first admin that paid maintenance on it.



So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp.


Then we fixed the ownership transfer problem, but left in the other unfortunate side-effect of causing you to lose all the permissions, admin-list, ban-list and so on.



So I built a third one. That burned-down, fell over, THEN sank into the swamp.


This morning it was fixed to update when you pay maintenance on it, without wiping out the lists, transferring ownership to admins, bursting into flames, falling over or sinking into the swamp.



And that's what you're gonna get, lad: the strongest castle in these islands.
