We'd all like to see new types of banners, but one potential problem with allowing us to make one (even if SOE approved) is that every time you passed the banner you'd have to download it and I think that would in turn add more stress to the server when it comes to lag and loading. And I think we can all agree that we don't need anymore of that.

Jas and others have asked to try to get more options for choosing banners though, even if they were just factional at first.

Thanks for the feedback. I was just throughing an idea on the table. Actually any kind of banner would be nice. I would really like to use it as a Battle Flag. Do you think that oculd be impleneted easily?

It's hard to say what is really easy or not. Since it isn't coded in to allow the change on the actual artwork, that would probably require a bit of time. I couldn't really say how long though. It's on our list of suggestions and I'm sure once the combat upgrade and such is finished they'll be able to throw some love to the direction of PAs. Just a long list of things to tackle that take a little higher priority than cosmetic changes.

But it is something I do want to see for sure. And absolutely nothing wrong with giving out ideas. Best thing you can do is voice your opinions if you want to see something change for the better!

Even being able to change between a few standard banners supplied by SWG would be a great thing. I would like to change mine and i see there are banners everywhere shouldnt be hard to add

it would be nice if when u lay your guild you have a choice to use a factoinal flag or a generic flag. because id love to show off that my town is rebel from the rebel flag on the side of my building

I would imagine that there would also be restrictions on allowing player-made images to be loaded onto a banner. Copyright and licenses and all that stuff. It was brought up at Fan Fest (albiet for musicians), but it could very well apply here as well.

I agree, though, that it would be awesome if PA Halls had an option on the radial menu to rotate banner types in a fashion similar to merchants being able to change house signs. Even a limited selection would be welcomed.

a limited selection doesn't sound too much of a hassle indeed. If this is picked out of our wishlist, this will most likely be the case

I would love to see a different banner for the PA Halls. I think the type of banner that hangs ont he buidings should reflect the Empire, Reble, or Neutral guilds. Kind of cool, or maybe not, but different banners yes.

Good Idea I have also ben thinking about it. Unfourtunately it will probably never happen. Its hard enough just to get a factional banner for inside.

but you should be able to use an image file though.
