I like that idea very much myself. Now just to get the Dev's to do something.

While I love this idea personally....I just KNOW SOE would flinch because they always do when it comes to DBase issues....and honestly...I can't blame them. Oracle is more evil then a Sith Lord.

I agree getting the devs to impliment this, may take an act of congress. LOL I think I posted this before too, I would love to see them change the color of the factions on players.
Rebel - Purple
Neutral - Blue
Imp - Black or Dark Blue
That makes easy to distinguish between Neutral and Imp. LOL

pa banner:
something like an aurielian banner
but you have a collection of 100 or so symbols that can be added in different manners

and then have your pa name changed to New Aruribish script etc and have that at the top or bottom of your flag etc

THey could add in certain options to change banners on the guild hall based on banners that are already in the game, ie Planetary, faction. And add a few extras just to keep a few options open. The option could be added to the structure just like changing the sign or coloring the text, so the code wouldn't be too hard to write.

+ On the creation of guild crests +
At the moment its just a proposal, but I will write it in a style as if it would be real.
This guide shows you, how to create an own guild crest. First go to your guild terminal and call the menu. There is a new entry »guild crest« if your guild has more than 25 members.If not, you need to increase your recruiting. 
A new window will open where you can actually create a guild crest.
background pattern
Ifyou want to add decorative stripes, flames andsome other shapes, add them here. Or leave it blank. Its the general shape of your crest.
stamp
The stamp set has a few options. As you see, there are three equal stamp sets. It allows you to use three different stamps on your crest. Stamp pattern determines where your three stamps appear.click through the various combinations. The first showsonly one stamp (A upper stamp) in the middle. Next shows twostamps side by side, as you see. As you see, its stamp A and B.
Play around with it. Change the stamps in the three boxes and combine them with the various patterns. If you want three imperial symbols, you can select a pattern which displays three times box A or you select the imperial symbol for three boxes and use a the apropriate pattern. It depends. Some combinations are easier with one method, others with the other, most of them can only be done with one of both methods.
Just a few tips on the stamps. You can dye them with the box below. Think about your background material and the decorations. Make sure you have contrast in it. In the tatooine sunlight, two different brown tones are hard to see from a distance. Do not use complex symbols too often, rather place only one.
When you finished your crest, click on register. Note, you can only register one at a time. A mail will be send to your members. If it denies your registration, someone other already registered the very same crest. You have to change something, then try to register again.
Now, tailors, armorsmithand architects are able to produceitemswith crests. All they have to do, to produce an item with a placeholder. The placeholder will be replaced by the guilds crest, if worn by someone in a guild. Ask yourarchitect for a banner.The can be producedwith someadditional options:
background material
Choose the tissue of your banner material. There are currentlytwo, a normal flag and a rotten one for a more crime style.
banner shape
There arefew formats, standard flag, a banner, athree edged flag and something more like a streamer.
You can decorate your guildhalls and houses. If the mayor of a city is on your side, he is able to place them in the city as well (they count as decoration).
