Thread: What is YOUR Number one Issue?
Solution: Add simular window like friends list that show online guildies.
It would be really nice to set the guildhalls up like city hall, 0 lots als long as the leader holds it.
Guild tab should be an option like friends
guild terminal interface is abysmal!
res #1: increase to proper ratio
res #2: increase to 400 or 450
The rest is fairly livable, It would be nice to have a better way of orcestrating a takeover in the event that the leader leaves goes AWOL, or other personel issue arises..
ex. guild leader quits the game or deletes their charecter, an E-mail is sent to everyone in the guild informing them that there is a vote and they have 1 week to vote in a new guild leader. If you don't vote you miss your chance to influence the change.
ex2. different types of guilds, dictatorship, democracy, ect...a guild type is selected at the formation of the guild and different members are assigened different abilities and what have you.
remove the ability to let 1 person disband an entire guild.
In my experiance not many guilds break up on mutual terms, usually when I've been involved in a guild that has disbanded, its been because the guy with power got pissed and disbanded the guild agenst the will of the guild members, IMO because you are a guild leader doesn't mean you own the guild, if you want to leave you shouldn't be able to take the rest of the guild with you, it should take a vote to disband a guild fallowing the same outline as described above.

Issue: Guild Member Management. We don't have easy access to the information that we need to properly manage the guild.
Solution: Revamp of the PA terminal to allow sorting of members by name, rank, permissions, length of time in the guild. Add in the time to PA update like the City Hall terminal. Last login time would be helpful so that I dont have to tip 1 credit to see when they come on. Basically add more information to the terminal and allow us easier browsing and sorting.
(btw congrats on the new post Rothin, well deserved)
Thanks, and the interface for the PA Management terminal is what I like to call my arch enemy.. bad thing is I know it'll take quitea bit of work to get it redesigned. Sure doesn't mean I won't poke, prod, and remind them whenever I can slip it in. lol
Issue: Providing guild members with a fast, easy, and secure means of trading
goods with each other without the risk of outside interference.
History: Legend of a New Republic (Shadowfire) had created a system called
LSP (Legend Service Points). Guild members gained LSP by adding to the guild
atmosphere, ie: going to meeting, participating/leading hunts or raids, or
doing other things that benefited the guild as a whole. These Legend Service
Points could then be spent at guild vendors, that were in a house with a 50k
entrance fee. All members were on the entry list, so all they did was walk in
and purchase an item off one of the vendors. All items on those vendors were
listed for their LSP price, ie: 100k of steel for 2030 credits. This number
would then be subtracted from the members total LSP later that day, This
allowed members of LNR to donate items to the guild, and to access resources
that other members donated with ease. At one point we had more than 2000 items
on the guild vendors. Unfortunately this system was not secure, and an angry
member informed other players of the "LSP House" and after paying the 50k
entry fee, walked away with several million credits worth of items and
resources.
Solution 1: Create a "Guild Vault" terminal where members of the guild could
donate items and pick them up. Instituting a LSP-like system that guild officers
had access to would allow members to pay for items at the "Guild Vault" and not
worry about spending credits.
Solution 2: Allow guild leaders access to a command that removes the vendor
limit and placement restrictions when a vendor is placed in a guild hall. A
guild leader would be able to make the guild hall private (members only) and
place one or more vendors that only the guild had access to. Removing the item
limit would allow more items to be traded amongst the guild easily.
Solution: Take ranks out of the name filter and make the interface more user friendly
Issue 2: Item Storage- this is not just a PA issue so it did not make number one PA issue. But we can not have a nicely done hall with item limits. We definently can not store anything in here and decorate.
