I totally /agree with you Kail. I don't think the /roleplay or /anonymous commands work. But you're right, if you see someone with TIO or before FATAL, then you immediately know what factin he/she is based on the guild name even if they're not overt.

Indeed, afew PAs are so well known that being a member of these PAsautomatically mark you as a covert rebel or imperial.
This consistently prohibits people to roleplay a spy or just doing covert recon in some areas of the galaxy filled with players of the opposite faction. At this time, the only solution to this is to remain IG outside of the PA you're an OOGmemberof.It prohibitsthem fromgetting into /guildchat too and participate fully there.
On the other hand, to allow a player to hide his/her PA tag at times where he doesn't want to see his/her affiliation known could enhance RP.
Of course, whether his/her tag is on or off should prevent him/her to get acceptance into another guild. Obviously, it should not affect his faction standing too. So, if s/he gets under a TEF, declares as an Overt member, nothing would change there too.
The only thing that changes here is that his PA affiliation can be kept secret when someone doesn't want to attract too much attention to himself.
I know that the dev's have been thinking about this and I don't see why it hasn't been implemented yet as there is no risk of grief here. Indeed, one just needs to know someone's first name to report him/her preventing any risk of potentialabuse.

Congratulations on your appointment, and a great post Jascentia! I can’t think of anyone more highly qualified, and if you do half the job here you did at SWG-RP, PA’s will be fixed/developed/enhanced in no time.

Whats so darn wrong with having a "31'st Wrecking Crew"........
Following character name rules..31 isnt alowed....
And I did some testing today..Wrecking isnt alowed...any combo with Wrecking in it ...and "wreck" got rejected......
My PA, 31'st Wrecking Crew..is still "Crew"....well..in 7 days..we are..well..if "god" alows it.."KampfGruppe Crew"....
jeeez...we have a war, we have a empire wich we can be part of their armies..and we cant have numbers in our PA names?.....
Wonder what "101'st Airborne" or "1'st Armored" would have been called if rules like these were in the army.....
This is a issue, not just for my PA, but for future PA's too...not all PA's future and current wants names that aint "afiliated" with army names and naming...
Would like to add that 250 items in a 9 lot PA hall is..well...sick..I get that in my large house that uses 6 lots....
I sacrificed my large house so I could setup our hall.....and I have 1 lot left....This means I sacrified all my storage....and..decorating the large hall is a heck...so much room, and so little space...and we dont even use it as a storage, but pure decorated PA hall. As we like to spend time in it, not just use it as a huge storage...
Hello Jas great post. I would like to see the item limit rasied to atleast 500 if not more. Whats the point of all those storage rooms if you can not use them.
I'm ok with either Jascentia.
If you lower the lots I'll place a small house in addition to the PA hall...
If you raise the storage limit the problem is solved...
I do agree that at minimum one or the other needs to be done, but I have faith in you Jascentia I know you can both off for us!
