seriously player associations and players cities are the heart of this game. It is true that not be able to use my post patch PA hall on Dantoooine really made me mad (especially on top of the player city caps) but the number one problem is still the chat system.
I dream of a week in which email, tells, and guildchat all work.
Jas,
I'll have more to comment on when I think about this for a while
Glad there is someone to go to now!One thing off the top of my head in reponse to your post is:
- Give PA leaders an ability like Squad leader system message to group to send a message to all PA members that will apear on their screen
- PA halls should definitely have less of a lot requirement. Perhals require them to have 9 lots at first, but after a certain PA member cap is reached for a certain duration change it to 0. The pa hall is a communal structure for all members to enjoy. The leader should have use of the wasted lots to better serve the PA after it's been proven the PA is legit.
I placed my PA hall and don't mind the penalty this has to my lots. The only amount I would ask them to lower it by, if any, would be 1 so I can drop a small house anywhere as opposed to just Naboo. However 250 items?! Even with a large rectangular fountaing filling most of the main room I am hitting the cap just by furnishing my hall, no resources just furniture and quest item decor. This needs to be upped by at least a hundred items and let us use the balcony/roof.
Oh and just to let you know the friends list has a row for group and comments which works great for separating good friends from guildmates to good customers/aquaintances. While it would be nice to have a guild channel that works and shows who is logged in...I can live with the friends list and /tells.

I wasn't aware that the Guild:XX wasn't working for allowing access to the PA Hall. Mine put it there automatically, and it works fine.
It works on entry list but not admin. I think it works on ban but I'm not sure.
I look forward to the possibility of a "guild treasurer" that is separate from maintenance pool and still usable by the entire guild. We have actually had to vote in a treasurer to assist with such details as I can only do so much. Please keep us posted, I know many of Us are talking, and I would wager even more are reading. *Smiles*

I am a member of a guild on the bria server, I only have a medium size house and i don't go out and collect alot of stuff, but i capped out the other day with too many items in my house. i think it's set at 150 but im not sure. i really don't have anything in there but a few odds and ends of furnishings. mostly junk that gets looted that i save like a pack rat. I think when you drop a house you should get a shed to go out back to drop junk in that you don't really want in your house but want to save for later considerations, or maybe an extra 50 items in an attic or something. hehe
Onto other matters, im not sure if the person dropping the PA Hall should be penalized with 9 lots, it should be a community building that once you reach so many members it reverts to the community and that member that was kind enough to drop it would no longer have all those lots gone, maybe after 10 people have been put into it and have a declared home within 200m of the hall, that way whoever dropped it could then put there own house. Just a thought.

PA Halls
You cannot allow your entire guild access to the PA Hall with the Guild:XX tag like you can with homes
The 250 item limit seems small for the size and lot usage of a PA Hall. There are two components here, number of lots and capacity. Should the lots be lowered, should the item limit be increased? Many would say both, but which would you pick if you had to choose?
The Guild:XX tag does not work on private houses with an entrance fee. I would like to exempt the guild witout putting every name on the entry list.
I think the item count is low just for decorating purposes. All our charter members have rooms in the PA Hall and it is hard to decorate your room, whne you have to watch out for the PA halls item count.
We do need a PA tag toggle on/off!
Indeed, afew PAs are so well known that being a member of these PAsautomatically mark you as a covert rebel or imperial.
This consistently prohibits people to roleplay a spy or just doing covert recon in some areas of the galaxy filled with players of the opposite faction. At this time, the only solution to this is to remain IG outside of the PA you're an OOGmemberof. It prohibitsthem fromgetting into /guildchat too and participate fully there.
On the other hand, to allow a player to hide his/her PA tag at times where he doesn't want to see his/her affiliation known could enhance RP.
Of course, whether his/her tag is on or off should prevent him/her to get acceptance into another guild. Obviously, it should not affect his faction standing too. So, if s/he gets under a TEF, declares as an Overt member, nothing would change there too.
The only thing that changes here is that his PA affiliation can be kept secret when someone doesn't want to attract too much attention to himself.
I know that the dev's have been thinking about this and I don't see why it hasn't been implemented yet as there is no risk of grief here. Indeed, one just needs to know someone's first name to report him/her preventing any risk of potentialabuse.
