Thanks for answering, swg makes it difficult to understand what they mean in releations to terms.
ok as my experience from running a guild a while back
= means currently at war
< means that player on right has declared war e.g A has declared war on B so B<A
> means opposite of aboves so B declares war on A so B>A
and btw people often say "whilst at war can my GH be destroyed" no it cant being at war means you can only harm players not structures (you can also harm swoops) it is the same as GCW but only againts 2 guilds

Great Idea.
On Kauri, we're trying to do that on our own accord, by setting up guildwars with people, and making the gentleman's rule that players with their "Helper" tag are off limits.
Which brings me to my question, and why I came to this forum:
How do you end a war with another PA?
There are a few PA's that are stepping up to engage us in war of this nature, but, I'm not 100% sure I can trust all of the PA's I might declare war on. If they break these rules of combat, is there a way for me to _immediately_ stop the war, or does it take a few days or maybe even their consent to end the war?
I figure I should probably know this before I put my entire guild in the cross-hairs of the enemy.
Thanks.

You just go back to the terminal and remove their name from it which will end the war.

It actually explains what every symbol means on the guild terminal when you select the war option. The text after the symbols follows the order they were in and explains what each meant.
= Means both guilds have declared war on each other and it is in effect.
< Means you have declared war on another guild, but they have not accepted.
> Means another guild has declared was on you, but you have not accepted.
