I heard a saying once. "If something is too good to be true, it probably is". I started playing this game in November of 2004 (not even a year ago) and it hasn't taken long for me to see the kind of customer service this game offers. Some of the bugs in this game are so ridiculous, it boggles my mind why they are releasing a combat upgrade when there are game breaking bugs in just about every single system in the game. Here we are, about ready to be pushed into a second expansion pack, and bugs from the beginning of the games history are still plaguing people! /sigh. It is depressing to say the least.

Same thing happened to our PA. Voting stopped and current leader was victorious i filed a ticket explaining that due to the bug where you could only vote on the first day of election we did not have a chance to change leader.
I got a response from CSR that they where unable to trasfer guildhalls
not exactly the question i ask but any ways election restarted the next day.
Ill see if its stabile this time around.

Please congradulate **** on retaining thier office. The voting system will now be disabled. The new leader can enable it if they wish to run new elections."i got a response from a csr on this that stated "i am sorry to hear about the voting. I would like to inform you that it is possible that members of the guild voted for the old leader. He may be a default canidate. Hope this helps. We wish you all the best."the only things on the ballots was my char's name and abstain. when i checked after server up on friday i had a few votes and as people logged on they also were finally able to vote for me. the last person to vote before the elections were done stated that he only had the 2 options as well.
Same thing here, our leader hasn't been on for ages and it triggered an election, and we voted for the new leader, and the old MIA leader won, ROFL...way to code SOE /golfclap
So our guild is still in limbo

lol j'olan your telling me... this needs to be fixed. This thing can break or make a guild, we need a guildleader in office. If you can't fix this new stuff just put the set alliegence stuff back in lol.

Ditto, the same. Our original guild leader only logs on once in a blue moon and I have been acting as guild leader (though without status) for a good while. Got her to set the guild terminal to elections and I was the only candidate and received lots of votes and then got the message that she had retained her office, even though she didn't enter the race.
What a run around, tried everything. Even have had her leave the guild long enough for me to get guild leader position (before this *NEW IMPROVED* system was put in place) only to have her get guild leader back a week after she rejoined. The Direct Transfer is not an option since I don't want to hold the lots for the guild hall and she doesn't hold them anyway.

You don't have to hold the guild hall to be the leader, you simply just need 5 available when it checks. Anyone can still hold the guild hall. Use the direct transfer and it will solve your issue.
The rest, they are looking into.
