guild:name -- send e-mail to any guild where name is the abbreviation of that guild

Which has also been requested on numerous occassions.

I have a question... I have tried having my guild leader getting this setup without success. Is there anyway that this could be remedied (i.e. maybe something we are doing wrong, etc.)? We tried following the steps you outlined above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Infin8, is your PA Leader able to set *any* permissions at all? Or is it just the Mail one they are having trouble with?

Could you have your leader PM me on the forums?

So lemme get this straight for who I send it to, not the subject field, not the typing field, the recipient. I jsut type the words "guild" and it will send it to everyone in 'my' guild or do I have to put "guild-cm" or soemthing like that?

3. Yes, JUST the word guild, that's really all you need! Nothing after it, nothing before it. You can capitalize the G if you want. I think it works both ways.

For those that are Mayors of a city, there is a similar ability where you can mail "citizens".

This will mail only the citizens in your city, which might include non-guild members. This ability can not be granted to others as far as I am aware.

I dont know if it's been mentioned before, but one of my chars is a Mayor of a City.

She has guild email privs, but cannot send emails to guild. There seems to be an issue with sending guild mails whilst you are a Mayor.

I am a mayor and I've had no trouble with this. Could it be you tried when the chat server was having issues? *shrugs* Are you just using the word guild with nothing before/after it? If there's a problem here I'll be certain to report it.
