Thread: How To: Guild Email, Easier Than Ever
1. Start a new email
2. Instead of typing someone's name in theTo field put the word guild
3. Yes, JUST the word guild, that's really all you need! Nothing after it, nothing before it. You can capitalize the G if you want. I think it works both ways.
4. Type the email, hit send.
What if it didn't work?
If it didn't work, that means your PA Leader hasn't given you permission to send email to your whole guild. Buy your PA Leader a few Sunburns and tell them to follow these steps:
1. Go to the Guild Terminal
2. Click Member Management
3. Click Guild Members
4. Click your name in the list
5. Click Change Permissions
6. Click Mail
7. Click Ok
8. Make sure it says you have Mail+ now.
9. Try it again!
If anyone still encounters guild email problems after trying all of the above just let me know!
wow that is super informative, thanks a whole lot
Ive just been emailing my entire friends list.
Anotheremail tip in case you're not using it yet, I normally add all my guild members into my friends list. All the officers, I've added to a group called OFFICER. Then if I need to send email just to the officers, I sort my friends list by group, highlight all the officers and send email to them. Nice and quick.
Thats a great tip Ynnos. Hopefully someday we can get additional info to go after the word guild...
guild
nline (email all guild members who are currently online)
guild:rank# (email all guild members of a specific rank number, if they implement ranks as I suggested)
guild:faction(email all guild members of a specific faction)
There are many possibilities!
/drool Jas - don't tease me like that...
I just hope they implement ranks... oh and any export of guild data would be cool too since there isn't any guild info site like DAoC. I tell you, DAoC spoiled me for it's guild management capabilities. *sigh* Too bad it didn't have enough in-game depth.. but that's another rant for another day... LOL
Keep up the great work ma'am!!!
