No hiding PA tags. If you are in a PA, you should have to wear your tag. I would hate Imperials coming to my town and claiming they are neutral because they don't have their "well known Imperial guild" tag on.

I agree with LordValadon. I vote for keeping PA Tags as mandatory. The guild is yourfamily and is as much of an identifier as your player's name. The tag defines how you will be accepted or rejected by others around you, depending upon your PA's reputation. Ifa player does not like being associated with a PA Tag,then they should disassociate with the PA itself.

Said very well, Cho.

I honestly can't see any valid reason for hiding a PA Tag. We ban PAs from our shops, from our city, and from certain buildings. We obviously don't want to associate ourselves with said PAs. I don't want to be tricked into it.

I have to agree with the no hiding of the guild tag and in my own personal opinion there should be no guildbadges with out a new tab so you don't crowd up a persons profile more then they already are.

The ability to place items "vertically" in a room of your PA Hall (without using the stairs). I know this is a global request regarding all housing, but it doesn't hurt to add it to the list.

Proposed Additions:

Add optional PA perks that may be purchased similar to City Specialization. For a weekly fee, a PA would be able to receive perks along the line of a customized PA emblem to be displayed on all members equipment, and on the flags of the PA's Guild Hall that would readily make the PA stand out.The addition ofoptional perkswould provide yet another money sink into the game, and increase the coolness of PA's.

Implement PA owned lots. Right now when a player drops a Guild Hall, that player becomes relatively gimped for their SWG career due to the Lot usage necessary to discourage every player in the Galaxy from using a Guild Hall as their personal home. I understand the need for this, but it just doesn't seem fair. Making things harder, as a PA grows, the need for support facilities rises, for storage purposes, shared factories for items for PA use, faction bases, dozens of things. Very often it can be a real pain having members donate their lots for facilities. Members come and go, many times without warning. That's considering there are members open to being short some lots. As a PA's membership grows past certain levels, I feel it would be acceptable to allow for PA-owned lots to be granted. Once a PA reaches 10 members, they would be granted 2 PA Lots that could be placed by the Guild Leader, or Guild Admins. Every 15 Members past that, 2 more PA Lots would be granted.

Add a Guild Terminal option for PA dues. Players interested primarily in benefiting themselves at the cost of PA come aroundannoyinglyoften. Options for Guild leadership to enforce some minor taxation would alleviate some headaches.

Possibly taking PA owned lots a step further, adding the ability for a PA to require Members donate a certain number of their Lots to the PA as part of their dues would also simplify much.

Graphic/Color insignias that PA's can adopt as their symbol (a la DAOC). These logos could be put on the PA Hall flags and as other decorative items. It would be unwise to allow guilds to 'upload' their own symbols, therefore the graphics must be chosenfrom a large set of preset logos and color combinations created by the SWG devs.

I REALLY like this feature as well. Even just an armband or something that can be worn (even over armor) that has the guild colors and your guild standing maybe?

The only other thing I would mention is my thought on a Guild /tell command, but at the same time I fear that it might encroach on the Squad Leader's /sysgroup command. Either way it is worth asking for

Otherwise great list!

No longer holding out hope, SWG will never be the game we fought so hard for, that we believed so much in. Farewell friends.

I'd like to requesta command usable by the current PA leader to transfer leadership.

The voting method can still be kept, but a transfer command is a better solution than kicking the casual players out of the PA and works well when the leader will be on vacation or can't pay his/her subscription for a month and needs to let the second in command run the show for a stint.

Keep the tags. Why should guilds not be held accountable for the actions of their members. Without the tag, its a free for all.

If this tag thing is about a spy wannabe....now that is a special class that is vastly more important than pikeman.

I think this is a pretty complete list of everything that I would like to see added, or changed. This list plus the few other ideas in the posts following the list seem to make up a complete list.

Thanks Jas!

I personally dislike the fact that you can set allegance. I run a military PA. I am the highest ranking member. I should never be kicked as the leader. If people don't like the leadership, they can leave. Some have. There should be government settings for a PA. Some might be democracies with a council. Others dictatorship/military. Some might be hybrids.

I like the previous idea. I am starting up a military PA, if you join the military you dont vote out your CO.

Id also like to request that PA halls be reduced to 8 lots as their requirement, as having them at 9 screws over all the PA leaders. I either have to use my PA hall as storage, meaning it wont be looking as nice, or I have to get another member to place and run a house for me, which is unfair to them and is also a ton of hassle.

Reducing PA halls to 8 lots would at least allow a PA leader to have a small house for storage and private functions.
