10 members so leadership is fairly simple. I am the final word on any decisions. but one person is recruiting officer. Other than that i try to make it a freebased system. We all pretty much have the same goals in the game, so it's fairly simple for all of us to make decisions and If someone tries to break our chain, they will not be in our guild.
As for keeping members.
I started the guild with an offer for free material trade between members. We have a central storage facility in which members can get items without any pressure to add. All of us are very supportive of each other, and if someone needs a specific resource, or finds a really useful resource (I.E. Colat iron, steel...etc) then most of us will place harvesters for the greater benefit of the guild.
If we find that someone is not contributing, or is causing disturbance (still has not occured yet)....they will no longer bea member of our guild. No use in keeping members just for numbers.

The Servants of the Shrub uses a simple council system. The council is not so much leaders as they are servants to the rest of the membership. The Council holds all the power but must preform actions if asked by a fellow member. In this way no one member is above the rest. However when there comes a need for a major decision to be made the council conveens till a decision is made either by a council or membership vote.
