Patch Notes
I'd like everyone to check out those patch notes that just went up for Test Center. They address TWO of our BIGGEST Issues. PA Halls will now only take 5 lots and STORAGE has been increased to 400 items for a PA Hall.

It seems like the new item storage limits follow about 100 items per lot...
Too bad the guild halls cant hold 500 items =/...but we can't be picky right now...
CUZ WE ALL LOVE TIGGS AND THE 20 NEW DEVELOPERS!!!!!!! HUZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /25 gazillion flame salute!!!!!

Yeah, there is no need for us to complain right now. Especially since our lot cost was lowered AND storage was increased. To me, that's a very positive change and enough for us. We always asked for 400 as our target number and we finally got it. I think this will finally allow us to fully decorate our PA halls and I know once this goes live, that will be the first thing I do!
And even on top of those changes that effect us there are still a ton of other very awesome changes as well. The Ship lot changes, incap times, Entertainer buffs, apprentice point removal, inventory increase, etc... the list just keeps going with this patch.
And of course, since we now include grouping here, how about the Invite to group from anywhere change? I love it already because I was always annoyed waiting for someone to get to you to group them. Hey.. maybe I can convince them to drop the PA Terminal Requirement to guild someone now... hmm.... should I try?
Things are really starting to improve around here and I know they will continue to do so! Just keep your ideas and feedback coming and I'll make sure it gets passed along!

All i have to say to those patch notes is WOW! they look amazing, let's just hope they all work when they are put in. It's great to see PA halls take up less and less space over the last few months (Lot wise) and now we can hold more item's!!!!
Although one thing i will say: If aPolitcian uses noSkill pointsfor their towns, how come we are stuck with lot's still for our halls? Maybe to be a guild leader you would have to "spend" a certian ammount of app for the ability to place a guild hall. This wouldmake guild halls more of a meeting place becauseonly guilds would have them and they would be more special. Also if your guild disbanded yopu would have to start a new one up before you could add maintance to your building thus making you remove the items and re-deeding it (also making re-deeding PA halls free). This would give PA halls a special feel when you go and visit one and see it nicly decorated (with the new ammount of stuff u can put in there =) Yes i know the changes are starting to make it less of a pain to become a guild leader or hold the hall on you lot's but we need 0 lot's on PA halls so long term crafters can become leaders and hold the hall.
Anyway enough of me (proberly more suited for a new thread but what the hell) Some really nice changes there.

FREEDOM!!! Now I can decorate my mall without hitting my item limit, and I can place a storage house for all my extra junk!!! Thank you!!

Politician is still a profession where as Guild Leader is not, it's a choice. With Politician, while the skills are now free, you still have to get the experience by runnning a town and staying in office. Meaning people can vote you out anytime and anything you had been storing in your City Hall is now theirs, so they don't generally get used for personal storage. Also, Guild Halls are a personal structure, not a public one. We can make ours private and keep them for our guild only or keep them for everyone, Policians don't have that ability when it comes to their city hall.
Still very big differences. So I really don't think our halls should be free, I agree with the lot cost.

It's great, lowered cost and massively improved items. It's like they gave out a free small house of storage...then gave us out a free small house.
I like the 400 item cap with a 5 lot cost since it makes the PA hall and large cost more then the normal credit fee so the decision is still there. Otherwise noone would have medium homes, just larges/PA's since you get as much storage for the same lots it just costs you a dozen more credits. With the removal of ship lot costs this means I can get my 2 multi ships up, keep my tent for my friend, have a permanent storage/decor house, and keep 2 lots for urban planning. Woooooo!
And please don't compare PA's to player cities. There are several similarities but many differences and the ties are thin at best. A player city is different then a player association so you should expect them to be treated differently.

Yes Rothin! GO FOR IT!!! That is soo annoying, and I spend soo much time waiting for people in my town =/ maybe make it like that for the Militia granting for Politicians too.

I think you'd have better odds of the Militia thing by asking in the Politicians forum, not really my realm there.
I will ask about the guild terminal thing and see if they'll allow us to sponsor / accept from anywhere. Can't hurt to ask!

This is indeed good news, and most welcome. Thanks Rothin and Jas for all your hard work to get us this far. With this item removed from our list, I think we need to look at something to fill its place. Now that polititan no longer takes SP, maybe we can request a PA Leader profession that works similar to a politian that will give us some of the things we have been requesting (MOTD, being able to manufactuer recruiting terminals, etc...)
