Thread: Being a PA leader should require skill points
If a Pa leader gets additional skills then maybe yeah id understand having to use skill points. If i got an additional +10 melee defense, or +10 whatever yeah maybe id maybe think it was kinda remotely an OK idea. But this Post has to die, just stupid in my opinion.
Why are you trying to Screw the PA leaders?
For the reasons that I put onyour politician board thread.

There is no apparent reason that you've given that persuades me to give up even more skill points then I already am, it wouldmerely hamper gameplay which is something that (outside of politician which needs to be fixed in that regard) should never be introduced to the game knowingly.
Because mayors get to do much much more then a PA leader. You seem to forget that some PA's are not the massive and faceless entities that are comprised of hundreds. To becomea PA you simply need 4 friends (less then an outpost) and enough money to get and keep a PA hall. I understand your points if all PA's were massive however most are not. The player association is meant to be either a massive group or a clump of good friends that enjoy playing together. Sure there are massive guilds that are the equivalent of a corporation, however there are also plenty of 5 or 10 men groups that just like to play together.
If PA leaders were given anything that is truly unique to them and only them then I might see some reasoning behind it but a large part of what we can do is easily created using things inside of the game or just by roleplaying it (except for guild mail and warring). You can macro a chatchannel, define ranks by a uniform over invisible text, and you all can join the same side of the GCW to fight. Meanwhile a politician (thanks to spending skill points) gets to drop shuttleports, clone centers, levy taxes, and decorate on the outside of buildings. Plus, hopefully, cities will be able to declare factions and/or war with others somewhere down the line. What exactly does a PA have that can rival any of those?
Whoa, whoa, arsenal....dood......that is bad language coming from your mouth lol. We all know that the crappy guild leaders end up destroying their own guild. So, basically it all filters out anyway. I believe that any guild that has been standing longer than 3 months is a VERY well established guild.
Long live The Tides of Freedom
So just to get this right, PA leaders should not only get screwwed out of multiple lots 7 or 9, but now they also must give up precious skill points for it? Not the best Idea I ever heard.

Mael.
