Thread: I see other pistoleers doing dmg that I cant even touch....

Ok I just want to know, if any of you do, what pistols are being used to do massive damage? I have a good dx (98-197dmg 2.1 spd) FWG (76-239dmg 1.6spd) and a couple of other random pistols, but even with my newly aquired fanshot I see almost no difference in anything. I still hit at most just over 1000dmg and at min. well. like 50dmg. I have seen screen shots and even people in game that can weaken and come close to destroy ATST's with a single fan shot.... What pistols do that? If I were to do that with my pistols I think it would just turn around and leave because it felt sorry for me even trying.... anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure these arn't comandos with launcher pistols who dabble in pistoleer? ATSTs are vulnerable to blast damage.

is that possible? for a commando to use fan shot with thier guns>?? damnit I want commando guns... because now that I think about it they did have commando guns...

but with that being the case.... whats the best pistol we can get? in this order
1. Fastest pistol
2. Strongest pistol
3. Fast and Strong (AKA all around pistol)
I know I know people are going to say fwg but I also want to know what is the actual fastest and the actual dmg people have seen on these weapons not just what they have heard....
I know on gorath some guy in my brothers guild got banned from the game for wielding a ???min -1200max dmg Pistol at .1 spd. I dont want something like this because I dont feel like getting banned but if I can get something close to this.... that would be nice.

get a master weaponsmith to craft you a fast fwg5 pistol they are the fatest so far in the game then have it sliced and if your lucky it will be a speed slice
the strongestt i would think is a matter how you look at it the Fwg5 doesnt do AP usally but the DX2 is a little bit slower then the Fwg5 but the dx2 can and does do AP with Acid as its dmg type

Keep in mind that uber Krayt tissue (for republics) and uber Bone shards (for FWG5's) can give you insane speed and damage stats. I personally own 8 FWG's that have speed under 1 second (which only helps with specials speed as all attacks in game are capped at one second) and damage over 400. I also have a nasty republic with speed of 1.4 and a damage of 425. I have seen them as high a s 485 on damage. Mind you there are still guns floating around from the preban days that have speeds of .1 and damage at 10000. If you come across one, i suggest reporting it to a CSR right away, as it was sliced using an exploit.

^^^ lol who is going to report that. Anyhow, you prob saw someone doing that much dmg because they had Rouge from the smuggler tree with last ditch and low blow or perhap the BH pistols line. Certainly the person you saw destroying the at-st had commando skills ... could have been a pistoleer with novice commando just for the launcher pistol, those are the only pistols that really do effective dmg to at-st's as they have no protection from it.

If I get oneshotted by a pistoleer in PVP with a buffed ham bar and my best armor, and I do a /open on him indoors to see that his gun IS a .1 10000, you better belive its /screenie /reportplayer time.

Speeds under 1.0 are completely useless. With master pistoleer, you will be at speed cap with weapons as slow as 1.5 speed I believe. I would still get the pistol with the maximum potential for damage, as long as the speed was not totally out of line (over 1.5 speed).

heres a idea bh levels 0/0/4/0 master pistoleer? ,all u need to use is that scatter pistol mine shoots for like 1.2 spd and 120-312 dmg
i be hittin 1.2k dmg

I hit a lair a few months back for 1800 with an average pre-nerf FWG5 and disarm1. I can now hit for mid 800's with Double-tap using a Republice Blaster with no tissues or slices.
