I think it's important to point out that, as of today at least, there is no record in-game (for me at least) of these certifications.
I'm Pistoleer 4044, but I'm not showing as being certified for the GEO. When I click on the Tech II box, I show as getting a special (Double-tap, I think) but not Geo certification. When I click on the Master box, it does NOT show DE-10 certification.
In fact, during some down time waiting for Buffs to drop and BF to heal, I checked all 18 boxes of Pistoleer (4 for each line, Novice, and Master) and none of them show the certifcations for Geo or DE-10.
I've only been playing for 2 months, so this may be something that I've noticed that more experienced players wouldn't have looked for. Or it could be that it only happens for me. But I suspect that an in-game bug is responsible for the repeated questions.

The cert is on the gun if you examine it. That is why we get so many posts asking the same thing.
EXAMINE.... THE... GUN!

The trouble with examining the gun is that (again, for me at least) weapons always show as "Certified: no" when I'm shopping at vendors. Once they're in my inventory, they show as certified properly. I get that even with CDEF's when they're on the vendor or eBay term.
Geos and DE-10s are very expensive, at least on Bria server. Nobody wants to lay down a week's worth of grinding money for a weapon they won't be ableto use. I found a GREAT-looking damage-sliced Geo the other day and passed on it because I didn't want to spend half my bank account on a weapon that wouldn't be useable.
We need to get this post stickied or keep it bumped. Everyone needs to know that this is a known issue.

all of the newer weapons dont list the certs. the berserker rifle, dx6r acid rifle or whatever are like that. what you can do if you cant afford the weapon to examine is find someone with one on display.

Thats a fair point, hadn't thought of it from a "I dont have this gun yet" point of view.

Yes, if you don't have the gun, there's no other way to find out its certification other than to ask.
I know the Genosian blaster says in its description, "This pistol requires Pistol Techniques 2 to be certified," or something like that, but I haven't examined a DE-10 in a while, so I don't know whether it does or doesn't.
Needing a question answeredis a great thing. But the annoying thing for some people is that we get posts like this almost everyday and there are probably dozens of threads started just asking about certifications already on this forum. A simple Search on the Pistoleer forums, with the keywords "DE-10 certification," and "Geno blaster certification" will yield the results anyone needing answers to these questions seeks, and it's far less redundant.
