if I am not mistaken you can still read at the bottom when you view the pistol on a vendor in its description when it is cert. As for it saying "no" when you view it on the vendor to see if you are cert. happens to me also, just like the 75% power on your droid all the time bug.

Should also add the Launcher Pistol to this thread's title. Someone just posted a question, and apparently examining the Launcher pistol doesn't show the certification requirement. :/
