I want a Master Pistoleer to be able to stand toe to toe with any other advanced combat profession and unfortunately the only thing I can say right now is the Plan looks good. And there will be 6 of us...more likely 20 of us (some smugglers and several of the crafters want to see pistols through the CU) who will be working for several weeks just to make sure that we dont necessarily come out on top, but that we come out with a fighting chance...if we do it right...NO ONE will come out on top.
I know your tired of the same old answer...Im tired of holding this stuff in...Im tired of waiting for the sandbox (although my JTL addiction has helped somewhat) Im tired of seeing the droves of Master Swordsman and Master Riflemen tags above people's heads, Its time for a change, its time to make sure that one of the primary weapons that is associated with this universe that we have come to love (and hate often enough
Ill be glad when you guys/gals can finally see what I have seen and think...yes this could work...if done right and good people on the job working FOR the pistoleer can make sure to be heard then we might finally see what we can be.
So, in closing, Im sorry that you have had to wait...Im better off with my knowledge but in the end Im just sitting and waiting also. I am sorry that the only real thing I can say is Wait for the CU, but in the end...thats all there is to it. Im a Software Engineer I know the lifecycle of programming something of this magnitude doesnt happen overnight. And it will take time to get it right through testing, balancing, retesting, rebalancing. But I assure you there are plenty of people who are concerned about this profession...and this profession alone to be what it should have been over a year ago.

And that we dont have to be a Jango clone to make it work. Im going to keep coming into this forum and shoving "All will be well with the CU" down your throats because all will be well...Im going to make it my duty and my obsession to make sure this profession is given its due. Riflemen have been tweaked, Carbineers have been overhauled, its time for pistoleers to get what they deserve and the Devs have noticed that it takes other hybrid traits to make this prof work, that is NOT what is intended, but unfortunately what has developed over the past year of this game.

I sure hope so. I mastered pistoleer in early august... 2003... was my first elite prof and i'm still master pistoleer. Despite all the problems, nerfs and lows I never choosed to surrender the skills. Since I started playing I wanted to be a pistol user, nothing more interests me combat wise.. but after 14 months on the downside, It simply starts to be boring,,,, and i'm finding myself loging each time less and less on SWG because that combat rebalance should have happen 6 months ago.
I'll believe that with good testers things might become better, but mainly beacuse of players testing stuff since "The devs" aren't worth my respector any kind of thrustbecause stupid, incoherent decisions likedelaying the MUCH needed combat rebalance are killing this game every minute.
