Hey Pistoleers,
I looted the subject item over the weekend and I am checking the sellability of it.
Would you use this item?
What would you pay for this item?
Please provide you opinions.
Thanks,

Nope, armor gloves are very important and you should always wear armor in combat.

.... Not really what he's advertising...
For pure Pistoleers this item would be awesome, considering you only have +74 Pistol Speed at Master Pistoleer. BH/Pistoleer dabblers wouldn't care, since they hit the speed cap anyway.

Glove armor is one of the 4 peices that you must wear. Gloves, Chest, Helmet and boots. +3 speed isnt worth the extra damage that you WILL take.

OK, not to blow the lid out on you glove/boot/leg/head armor wearers, but you DON'T have to wear just that armor to never be hit. I'm a trandoshian, so I can't even wear boots or gloves. I just wear pants, chest, head armor and ALMOST never get hit, and if I AM getting hit, I just put on bracers and I'll NEVER get hit. It might take up more HAM than you exploiting humans, but hey, I've only lost in PvP against uber rifle-toting rifleman and CM's. I'm a TKM/pistoleer xx4x/Mmedic. Don't need any more skills than THAT. lol, holla.......

Dang, i honestly have not seen a trando in like 6 months. Props to you for sticking with it, but try taking a hit with scatter hit and you will be feeling the pain.

Assuming you can find someone who agrees with the no-glovers out there (I've always used gloves but after reading this post, I'm going to try without and see what happens), those gloves would be worth between 50k and 200k I'd wager. They're not too hard to loot, since CorSec can be killed anywhere on Corellia, but it saves the convenience and FP if you already have them...
What you want to look for, though, is Condition. If the condition is less than 100, that'll certainly lower the value. Anything over 400, though, is quite acceptable in my opinion.

I would put a post up on the trade forums. You will see the gloves are really worth.

i use mine all the time, more often when I'm not wearing armor.
But Sometimes i do leave them on and don't really notice a diff with or without them
in ways of damage taken.
And why do you people only wear helmet, chest, pants, gloves and boots..... why not the whole armor?
Is this the armor hole I heard of??

no, this happened when they fixed the armor hole problem. It basicilly determines if you are wearing anyarmor and if there is non found it will route the damage to either the glove or the boots. This makes it pointless to wear arm and leg armor, although your armor WILL decay much faster.

What is the pistol speed cap? I'm an MBH/MPistoleer, so I think I have it. Just not sure though.

I own a pair of these gloves and love the. Contrary to popular belief, i do not wear the arm stuff, boots or gloves in armor and do fine.
It's all about the skills.
