A 2.4 Spd Pistol will cap all specials (including Stopping Shot and Last Ditch) at +90 Pistol Speed skill.

All i know is that anytime someone goes into PvP without one of those 4 peices on,they are one of the first to drop. There are NO trandos on our server afaik who PvP regularly. Im sure on servers where the PvP is less intense you can get away with it, but not on Radiant.

Trandos do fine on Tarq, from what I've seen. Radiant isn't the only galaxy with PvP mate.

Last time I went into a fight where my armour macro didn't equip my gloves, I took a 1900 health hit that wasn't blocked at all.
I lived, but *shiver* I'm making sure I wear the gloves now.
(That being said, when I was a wee n00b and killing stuff in the rogue CorSec base was a daunting tasks (Buffs? What's that?) I used my gloves all the time. I still have them in store actually. If you fight unarmoured, they can be useful, but unfortunetely the only pistoleers who are likely to fight unarmoured are bounty-hunters and they won't need the extra speed...)

I fight unarmored most of the time (when I'm not hitting anything big-time). Of course, I have my own tank. (read sig)

I used to see these gloves drop off of some jabba thugs... or was it swoop thugs, in an area of Mos Eisley, Tat on my server. I got so many of them and the +3 Carbine SpeedCorsec boots, that I sold them on the bazaar for 6k, each. They sold pretty good too. Hehe. I haven't seen them in the past month or so now, though.

Are there any specific CorSec NPCs or spawn locations I should be looking for to loot these? Im a member of an RP community and, in an effort to make combat more spontanious and fun, comp and ubese are banned, so Ill be fighting either unarmoured or with a couple of bits of padded at most. Seeing as I only plan to go pistols 2424, the additional speed will come in very handy.

Rogue CorSec Hideout on Corellia. It's under the POI tab. That's where most of the CorSec stuff originiates from (the post jsut above yours is the first time I've heard it mentioned that they drop from anything else besides rogue CorSecs heh). That's probably your best bet for lots of CorSec killing in a short timeframe.

meh. On the server I am on , Ahazi, I usually find corsec gloves for like 6k on the bazaar. I got to a vendor and you'll see em for 100k-300k.

you need boots gloves chest and helm for full protection, since you lizards cant wear boots or gloves obiously it must be different for you. And dueling with just a helmet and chest is fairly stupid i would think because anyone that has a special attack that can hit your action bar would have you down in a heart beat.

I have a set of Padded that I wear Corsec gloves with. I was in Ft Tusken and some dude marveled how little damage I took. I also had a 40% kinetic PSG on as well, so that helped.

I don't think I would take it, just because it is not armor. I ran into a singing mountain clan witch with no armor, and man she killed me in like 10 seconds, so i prefer armor over clothing.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all didn't have to wear armor or have to have uber buffs just to fight stuff?
