Thread: Questions about soloing DJMs

First, I was hunting DJKs since they are easier. Learned a few lessons from death and killed 40+ of them with no problem. So I decided to try DJMs and they still can be kited easily. However.his regen is so high that it recovers all my dmg done to him. I know a lot of you are solo master around here
So may I ask for some hints?
Btw, my template is MBH/MP/0400 carbineer and I have a decent pistol puped with SAC

Try using a FT FWG5 (they may be more vulnerable to kinetic damage) me, I just poison/fire/bleed em, and take potshots at em

no, snares/kd's and the occassional root is a must. try getting some doc in your template so you can speedbuff yourself. remember, if they hit you, you are dead, don't let them hit you.

Drawback with CM heals if you are kiting is that you get rooted a few seconds to execute the healing animation. This may be enough for the djm to catch you.
...but on the other hand if you have taken damage from the djm then you are already most likely dead.

I know the root and snare stuff, but my damage just cant keep up with his regen

hmm, the speed buff sounds important, but they are nerfing it next patch

What shots are you firing to cause damage? Quickdraw/Critical?
