Not to be a blatant rip-off, but we need one for PVE too.


MCH + Pistoleer? I can't say much myself, but I wanted to start the thread

My favorite support profession for a PvE pistoleer is scout, hands down. It may not make you more dangerous (although they do get a bonus to hit vs beasts), but it will definitely make you more self-sufficient, even rich.


Mask scent is very handy for approaching your mark, or harvester maintenence.


Terrain negotiation is very handy with all the running around a pistoleer does.


But my favorite part of scout is Hunting by a long shot. With hide earning up to 100cpu, it's good to make some money back from the armorsmiths for a change (I'm also an armorsmith, self-sufficiency is a beautiful thing).

Funnily enough, I think BH Pistol 4 + Pistoleer kicks arse PvE. With the accuracy mods I never missed anything. Just fan shot anything to death.



But in all honesty...if you have the triple combo, TKA can tank just about anything other than the super high end mobs. Just depends whether you want to be shooting a pistol or not.

I too am heading in this - currently almost MCH - Master Pistoleer and 4/3/4/0 Medic - pretty much a good solid solo PVE template.

what about smuggler 0140?

feign death helps against any hard mobs, and you can just bleed and feigndeath if you want, plus low blow gives you a ranged KD instead of pistol whip...and slicing terminals allows you to pull more money per mission, too!

I did this template back in the day. I can tell you that I found I could do mobs just as easily with my pistoleer/BH template. No money to spend on stims, no running pets, no Pokemon comments. I was soooo much happier when I gave CH the toe.

tkm/masterpistoleer/mastersmuggler is a great set up. melee/ranged mitigation3, and able to slice your own stuff, let alone if bored make a few credits on the side slicing others. Makes your efficient in combat and able to help your friends with a trusty master smuggler.

How about this ... Master Pistoleer, Master Medic, Smuggler Dirty Fighting, TK meditation tree (for poisons).

I meant pvp, and in pve voritors poison and they give good xp ... this is all I kill, about 2-3K per voriter.

or you could kill savage quenkers for basically the same xp - but without poison!!! Oh and don't forget it you are soloing to group with a pet, then park them in town - you get a very nice xp boost.


As for templates I am currently playing around with a Min / Max for PvE that invloves a little of everything (Master Pikeman, fencer, swordsman, pistoleer), but still haven't got all the bugs ironed out - I will post it for you all once i have it working very well
