Smuggler 0-0-4-0
Master Pistoleer
Bounty Hunter 0-0-4-0
That's got every pistol certification, and almost every skill mod and special except Fast Blast and a n extra Pistol Accuracy +10. How sucky would this guy be =P
I'm going for it anyways though!

I'm loving this template. Last ditch at the speed cap with my geo blaster tears people apart, and last ditch at the cap with a launcher pistol rips turrets apart.
Wasn't sure what to do with 6 skill points so i picked up slicing 1 for that extra bit of money on missions and if need be i can do the smuggler part of a base takedown.

Heh, I came up with the idea for this after watching Equilibrium a few dozen times while playing.

Yeah it is pretty nice, though I would really miss novice medic.

This is my template with a small difference. I took TK 0001 instead of Commando for the small defense bonus. I don't plan on taking on any turrets so the Launcher Pistol is kinda pointless, for me anyway.
I love it.

I'm running something like BH 0040, Smugglers 0030, Pistols 0444, Master Marks and scout 4000 currently and working towards this. I do however have some points to make re it.
What about going Pistols 0032 BH 0040 Smuggler 0030 and then dumping in TK 4004, giveing you a shed load more defence against ranged and melee but losing Dodge altogether and losing Ranged mitigation 3.
I guess my question for all pistols out there boils down to How good is melee and ranged defence vs Dodge. Is the percentage of hits avioded high enough to mean you don't need high melee defence or ranged defence.
What if you were to pick up the dodge tree and drop tk 4004 to 0004 meaning that you didn't have the wound healing but could still have the defence tree and some dodge, What the opinions?
Does dodge need to be at 105 or is 85 still good enough?
If you drop ranged mitigation 3 and pick up pistols 4044, BH 0040, TK 0004, Smuggs 0030 yer melee defence becomes 104, yeah sure ya lose ranged mit 3 down to 2 but ya still have dodge +80 and now yer ranged defence is 62 instead of 20.

I had that template, now IM master smuggler, master pistoleer, TKM, much more deadly if u ask me, lol. First off I could never beat a jedi with the template u are talking about and Ive been beating jedi on a fairly regular basis now. Han would kick Luke's wimpy arse any day.

Aye matey but this is talking about primarily a pistols template, we all know that a TKM can beat a JEdi, but thats not the point here.

I have that same template and love it. I put my extra 6 points into TKN though for (the look of) meditate and combat equilibrium or whatever it's called. Maybe if I start doing more gcw stuff I'll pick up slicing 1 again. As for the template, I absolutely love it. With buffs I can solo quite well on my own or contribute nicely to pretty much any group. With my 183-373 damage sliced krayted scatter I pretty much own the geonosians in the lab.

I really love firing at the cap now, before I was TKM/MPistoleer/Rogue/Medic/Scout and because I loved pistols I would usually use them and looking back it was just so slow. All in all I have a lot more fun in-game that I was before.

I have this template and did the extra 6 points into slicing 1. The increased payouts is an added bonus. Its great shooting everything at the speed cap. I have been leaning towards going the triple threat route. Just don't know how much I would miss this template?
