Frankly this is awsome news for the pistoleer who does most of his fighting on the move. You can now use hills and rocks to deflect blaster attack, or even jump into a ravene to get some cover for a bit.

Awsome change, two thumbs up from me!

Its definitely going to make dathomire a heck of a lot more intresting. Its also going to make a lot of the melee classes happy as they will be able to hide on the other side of a hill and wait for you to come over it to gain the Line of Sight. Since pistoleers fall into the closer range it could be fun to see what happens.

Well, this should make things more interesting.

Sounds like a good change to me.

Whats better yet is mob agro might actually be LoS too, from what I read (dont quote me)

lol needless to say this makes PvP a ton better.....Imagine two sides sitting behind rocks, healing up and yelling at each other while they prepare for the next charge .

Be like the good old days in Beta when you could run a mob up to a rock and get em stuck...then slowly sneak to where you had LoS to blast them around the rock but they couldn't hit you. not that I'd have ever participated in that sort of hunting.

Awesome change!

This will defintely be a great strategic advantage to those who use it wisely.

Holy crap that's HUGE

It will really be a disadvantage to everyone but melee. But it's huge, and probably a good thing.

Fantastic! Anything to improve the melee classes is alright in my book, I wish I had the guts to bring a hammer to a gunfight

All this talk about "strategy" makes me think about Squad leaders...

of course, it doesn't make me think HOW. I don't want some bogus skill were the SL yells "shoot through the rock, men!"

and of course, this isn't the SL forum....

anyhow, sounds great. Carry on.

Hmmm...yes but now Riflemen has their right to ask for longer range than others since they will suffer A LOT from this change.

Not sur it is a very good thing because it will bring many bugs. LOS have never been something easy to implement, can't stop thinking about Everquest where you have to see the feet of your target to hit his head.

Wait and see, quite biased for sure but not really hoping this to happen too fast.
