Yes, I have to use a frigging SAC Pup on my 88 SAC FWG5 because in a couple of shots, my actionis gone.
Is there any word on SAC reduction on Pistols?

strange i have notice the sameoddoccurrence also being out of action since pub 20, i have a 65 SAC FWG5 and even with blob candy and pixie i am constantly out of action. I never had an action problem before. I dont know if the food is bugged or my pistol is using more action, ill have to get some numbers on this one.
Nifty

Sounds like a stealth nerf to me. (or a bug.)

I use 65 SAC pistols with 27% SAC reduction, -7 Accuracy Reinforced Stock powerups... SAC goes down to around47.

I want everyone to understand that not everyone is rich and has a 40 SAC pistol and not everyone has enough money to buy uber weapons so lets stick to the Normal SAC of pistol wich is usually around 80 SAC and Carbines also have that average of SAC.

Very well. Use whatever you want. Don't expect to be able to use high damage specials until the fumbaas come home. Mix in Ranged Shot once in a while, or just don't fire and use terrain and line-of-sight to let your Action regen before hitting hard again.

You dont need loads of money to buy "uber" weapons, I paid a weaponsmith 50k to make mine from the shards I looted and then looted an Illegal Core Booster from Tier 4 Black Sun duty missions.
In fact I made a few creds selling the gorax shards I didnt want and all the space loot.

In my experience, this has always been the case. I have two pistols. The Hammer hits for 1117 max damage with PuP and has a SAC of 84. I use this to start combat to put some serious hurt on my mark. But I can't use it forever because it drains my Action too rapidly. That's when I switch to The Sickle. It hits for 916 max damage and has a SAC of 45 with PuP. I use this until my Action regenerates a bit. Then it's back to The Hammer.
My point is that you're not supposed to be able to spam your highest damaging specials for too long. There is a place in combat for the standard Ranged Attack default special.

I'd also like to add that if you get yourself a low SAC pistol and you get proficient at switching weapons in combat, you can use your low SAC pistol to apply states (where you don't care about the damage, you only care about the debuff) and switch to your high damage pistol to do damage.
i.e. You might start combat wielding your low SAC pistol to apply Warning Shot or Intimidate and then switch to your high damage pistol to start using Quickdraw or Body Shot.

Depends on the server, you need a 14pt Artisan with the best resources for those it seems.
