well de-10 decays very fast but are very good in general but they do energy dmg. a geo does stun which not all armor has resist too and even if it does then its not too much so in general so a geo can do more dmg and tends to be faster

well i dont know TOO much about it bust if ur speed capped and have an ADK on ur de-10 (or just feel like wasting it) then i would guess a de-10

Against Jedi: Whichever has a higher damage/AP.
Jedi don't wear armor, and don't have resists (unless they use Force Armor). Unfortunately, they more than make up for it by blocking 85% of all your attacks with their Lightsaber (if they're a Lightsaber Master).

Go with the DE-10. The AP is key. Of course saber blocking sucks, so you'd want the heaviest hitter for when you do get a shot through.

ok heres some randomness...
AP works normal in pvp...but against an unarmored target AP makes no difference....so vs jedi its whatever has highest damage. using a scatter or dx whatever its called would be good due to acid damage. Id guess most jedi would wear a psg and they dont protect vs acid, but protect very nicely vs geo or de-10.
also, acid is good vs non jedi too if they have stun armor and a psg and slow your geo down (but the psg doesnt slow down the scatter). so in general, its scatter or geo fpr pvp.

Umm AP has no effect in pvp. And if your wondering what to pvp with, i use both. Start out with geo and if it isnt doing much damage i switch over to my de 10, blast away till their psg is gone, then switch over to the geo to start hackin away at their ham. That is considering ur still alive by then

How do you know AP has no effect in PvP?

psg=armor so it would gimp a jedi completey

I recently had a very nice Krayt DX2 made, I call it " ADK-PSG-LOL" and it's soul purpose it hacking away at folks with the no-decay PSG's, which will gut your DE-10 and GSB.
don't forget how AR vs AP works:
If your target is AR1 ( personal armor) and has %90 energy resists and you shoot it with an AP1 energy gun only %10 of the damage is getting thru. You hit for 1000, they take 100 damage. ( only 40 points dmg if you add in a %60 energy PSG)
If your target is AR1 and %40 stun resists, and you shoot it with an AP0 stun weapon, half the damage is "absorbed" by the armor, then %40 of the remaining damage is absorbed by the resists. You hit for 1000 they take 300 damage. ( only 60 points if a %60 stun PSG is used)
If your target is AR1 and %90 acid resists and you use an AP1 acid gun and you hit for 1000, only 100 gets thru, but no PSG will alter that.
With the prevalence of %90 base armor out there, the DE-10 is really only good vs unarmored opponents, and a PSG really hurts your GSB. My advice is to use the DE-10 if you suspect a PSG is in use, if your damage doesn't go up in about10 shots then chances are it's got an ADK kit attached to it. Act accordingly. If you can crush the PSG swap off to the stun gun, if you can't swap off to the acid gun

most people wear psg's do 15-20 shots, with a De-10 and then switch to geo
