I used to get a 1 in 4 drop rate, it seems it has changed. I posted it in the corr bug thread a few days ago but then it seemed ok for a bit so I removed it.

Keep the kills to loot ratio coming in please.

I haven't hunted Gorax much post patch 19... but when I have, I've been disappointed. Bone shard drop rate seems to be much less than 1 in 4 kills and feels like I'll never get anything close to the 181s I got over a month ago. Oh well, he's still fun to kill...

Yeah, yesterday I killed about 10 of them and got 1 trigger assembly for my efforts. Marja's right though, he's fun.

That's because he's only level 83...but he's BIG!!!

ok I killed 23 gorax today.

I have been keeping wp's of the gorax I kill, and I plot the looking for patterns. yea I know I am weird.

3 drops of bones

74 max -.56 x 3

66 max -.71 x 4 <---- the second best speed ones I have ever looted

181 max -.37 x 3 speed sucks but damage is awesome.

4 drops of delicate trigger assemblies.

3 single drops, and a double drop.

my wp's on the map look like a solid circle with a incomplete outer ring.

Badge if you want the raw data and my analysis I will pm you the analysis and email the wp's to you if you send mename of a char on valcyn, with the understanding that this is propietary guild information, and needs to saty off the public forums.

I did not create a new wp if there wasa previous one within 50m.

I looted a bunch of shards (like 7 drops maybe) a week or two ago and only got one bunch over 100 damage. I've heard a rumor its bugged, but I've also heard a rumor that some decent ones have been looted recently. I'm unable to confirm either one.

Has anyone looted any good bones recently?

Its not really the quality I am concerened about, its the quantity, you can only loot gorax shards off of a gorax, you can loot delicate trigger assemblies off of several diff NPC's. I have an inventory full of delicate trigger assemblies, and only 1 bone drop

heh Vasily got 6 190+ off the first and only gorax he had ever killed a few weeks ago.

I had a ranger guildy do that to me, I'd been farming them for weeks and only got around 150 ish, he kills one and gets 170 ish shards, then promptly dissapears from the game with them in his inventory.

What or where is a Gorax please?
