Thread: If knockdown is nerfed then pistoleers will have no way to level up
I've heard a rumor they were going to nerf knockdown so a target can only have the effect once a minute? I'm already a master pistoleer so i'm done with the pistol XP, but I think nerfing knockdown would make it too hard to Xp for pistoleers and any other class that doesn't have creature handler pets.
They nerfed probots so they can't tank anything for us at our level. There is no looking for group tool and no incentives to group. There is no other way for a pistoleer to Xp at a decent speed other than using knockdown. The only way around this is to also level a class like creature handler along with pistoleer so you have something to tank for you,but that shouldn't be required and would make the game worse if every marksman was part creature handler.
If they do nerf knockdown then they should make grouping better XP for everyone (especially doctors who seem to prefergettingtheirXP by healing in medical centers and cantinas) and make grouping possible (by adding a way to search for groups who are looking for more). I would gladly give up my knockdown effectiveness to make this game group oriented. Its like this game has no community and should of been an Xbox game.
Anyway, you pistoleers who haven't reached master yet better get busy cause it's going to be hell ifknockdown is nerfed.
Well, im gonna exploit Knockdown in its current state as much as I can...but i do think ALL knockdowns should be nerfed. Its a lame special that is over-used by all classes that have it.
No more Snorbal hunts, lmao...
Pulling a single NPC and tanking it the whole time doesn't work later on
simple, ill join a hunting party. Kimo's and Snorbals are still good xp in 3-4 person party......
Life will be harder, but the galaxy will be better for it

Does pistol whip work on bigger stuff? Cause I mean I hopeI'm not gonna be whipping Baz Nitches my whole life. I'd like to think I'll get past the lower forms of wildlife stage and take on bigger game. I tried it on a Rancor and got killed fast. So why nerf it for lower level creature killing?
It should be Nerfed but not 1 whole minute. 10 seconds I'd say. Just enough so you can spam it...

I don't know what kimos and snorbals are but good luck finding a group. The only places i've seen people group are the 2 tusken forts.
