Thread: Pistoleer Stat Migration

I looked all over this forum for this info, and haven't been real successful. I'm doing Pistoleer/Weaponsmith, and I've quickly realized I'm going to drain my Action pool in no time at the rate I'm going. I want to Migrate my stats, but I'm not real sure on what I should try to do with them.

I know that I need Action, Quickness, and Stamina all maxxed out. Especially with my Scout Blaster, I need all the Action points I can get, need to be as efficient as possible, and need them coming back quickly.

For Strength & Focus, I'm not draining them with specials, so I'm leaving them at their minimums.

For Constitution & Willpower, I really don't get hit all that often, nor to I find myself waiting around for the Mind bar to fill back up. So I'm opting to leave them alone as well. I'm not sure if this is a mistake or not, but I just don't see the need for them really. Is 500 Constitution significantly better than 400? And because I'm a human, I can go to 600 Willpower, but I rarely see this pool suffering.

End result is 850 points, and Health & Mind at 400. That's a total of 1650 points. I was looking at possible a 2:1 ratio (1100 Health/550 Mind) or a 3:2 (990 Health/660 Mind), but because I'm going to be a Weaponsmith, I need a high Mind score as well, so I finally settled on 1:1 (825 Health & Mind). My final migration:

Health - 825
Strength - 400
Constitution - 400

Action - 1100
Quickness - 550
Stamina - 500

Mind - 825
Focus - 400
Willpower - 400

Opinions? Things I'm missing? I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on what to change and why, please.

We need to be able to edit.

Well, my brother is doing Tailor/Architect, and kept griping at me to raise my Mind. Finally I said, "You won't be happy till I max it out."

Well, I was right. He wants me to do:

Health - 550
Strength - 400
Constitution - 400

Action - 1100
Quickness - 550
Stamina - 500

Mind - 1100
Focus - 400
Willpower - 400

According to him, you have more amazing successes with higher Mind. Is this true? Anyone? And is it a deathwish to have this low of a Health stat?

I like a more balanced set of stats. I have 1000 health 500 strength, 500 Constitution, 1000 action 450 quickness, 450 stamina, 700 mind 350 focus, 350 willpower. I dont seem to run into to much trouble with this setup althought a little Muon Gold go's along way to saveme from the snipers oneshot mind kills that is when they fix the perma spiced bug Im under right now.

What do you want to do? PVP, PVE, or both? If you plan to PvP you are screwed with that low of health. For PvP I would suggest getting your HAM as high as possible, if you are dead it doesn't matter if you can regen your HAM with higher secondary stats.

I don't recall exactly, but i think i did something like 850/950/850, slightly higher on action because of the specials.

As far as the secondary stats, I have my health-related ones turned to minimum, action-related turned *slightly* up, and mind-related turned most of the way up.

Reasoning: I can fix health and action with stimpaks, so am not in huge need of quick regen on those. In fact, I had turned my secondary action stats to minimum to boost mind regen as high as possible (stimpak to recover health/action which costs mind, which then regens ASAP). I then actually went back and turned up my secondary action stats to support some of the sampling I've been doing to raise cash, but will shortly turn them all the way back down (to min).

Keep in mind that I'm a Zabrak.

I have something close to the following:

Health= 950

Action = 1100

Mind = 950

Bascially I have my health & mind secondaries minimized, & my action secondaries maximized. Luckily my min willpower is 700, so that along with /equilibrium is usually enough to save my health/mind when they get low.

Still, I rarely see my health get to less than 1/2. In fact, the only thing that would be empty would be my action except that I start to spam "/tenddamage action" once it starts getting low.

H- 1000

A- 950

M- 700

I cant remember exact numbers on the other stats. Willpower and Focus are as low as they can go. Constitution and Strength are Middle-Upper range. Stamina and Speed are both high. The only problem I ever have is my action wearing down because of using abilites. But a good gun solves that one.

Are any of you Pistoleers doing Doctor as well? I'm curious about your HAM stats if you are.

This threshold is mine. I claim it for my own. Bring on your thousands, one at a time or all in a rush. I don"t give a ****. None shall pass.

I'm doing Pistoleer/Weaponsmith, and I've quickly realized I'm going to drain my Action pool in no time at the rate I'm going.

First post. Anyway, I've been asking around, and been told that there's no impact on item quality due to your Mind pool, so things have changed.

Strength & Constitution are going to minimum, I don't drain Health with specials, nor mind myself waiting for it to regen.

Quickness & Stamina are maxxed (550/500) as I drain it heavily, and need all the regen I can get there.

Focus & Willpower again I don't drain, or find them empty a lot.

That just leaves the HAM itself. As I know how fast I drain my Action pool, I'm setting it to 1100 right off the bat. Now that I'm not concerned about having Mind up there for Weaponsmith, I figure I'll just split the remaining points between Health & Mind. I'm sure I don't need as many points in Mind as I do Health, but I can tweak them a tad later if I find one pool suffering. 1800 points, dumping 250 for Qui & Sta, leaves 1550, drop 700 for Action, leaving 850, and put 425 into Health & Mind.

Health - 825 (400/400)
Action - 1100 (550/500)
Mind - 825 (400/400)

I'll probably tweak my Health & Mind a bit in the future. Thanks for the advise, all!

I'm pistoleer doctor, but not really sure how I want to set up my stats. They are still at the default (started as a scout/human) any advice would be appreciated.
