This is the combo I think im going to go for.



Master Pistoleer

Master Marskmen

Scout - 4000

Bounty Hunter - 0440

Brawler - 0400

Fencer - Novice

Carbineer - 0001



EXCELLENT Features -


Dodge

Speed and Accuracy for pistol


GREAT Features -


Terrain Negotiation

KD's from Carbines and BH


Good Features -


All the cool stuff from pistoleer and shots from BH.






Im a MBH right now and I think im going to forget about stupid broke jedi missions all the time and start PvPing.. I thinkI will be much better with this combo.

*OPINION ONLY*

While the diversification granted by specializing in more than one weapon is nice, the weapon switch timer means you will not be able to combine them to great effiency in combat.

Trade one of them for some defenses.

Not bad


However, with limited defenses, medic will be sorely missed.

a great template i feel is master pistoleer, bh pistols 4, dirty fighting 4, and novice commando.

with this template i can stand toe to toe with a TKM, and only groups of people can get you down. also if you eat food that up or defances or the amount of dmg taken you can womp on people. yes it dose have very little defances. but then i'm goign to add from the jedi lines the defances there so i will have just a little bit more..

were you on crack when you wrote this? There is no way we could ever stand toe to toe with a TKM with this unless toe to toe in your mind is kiting someone and even then we won't be able to stand them. Only groups of people can take us down? Yeah......right. This is what crack does to you when youplay SWG as well. Don't do both at the same time. I don't mean to be harsh but this will never work unless you can lag out your opponenet so bad with Fan Shot with the Lag Pistol.

I don't really see much of a point in only get novice fencer since you don't really get a whole lot of mds for defense at all. But that's just me. Good luck to you.

I've defeated plenty of TKMs and i'm just Master Smuggler with 2/3/3/4 Pistoleer (aiming for Master) and 2/0/0/0 Medic. It is not only your template that is important but also your gear and the food you use. Thaktillo (sp?) is very important against TKMs as it help out against those damned knockdowns of theirs.


As far as attacking them is concerned, I make sure that I get as many state effects on them like Intimidate and Stun (from Last Ditch) and then go for the health bar with HealthShot2. I've beaten plenty of TKMs this way.

I currently am the "gun fu" build with Master Pistol, BH 0040, Smuggler 0040, and Novice Commando.


I haven't lost a "fair" duel yet -- fair being defined as we were both buffed and/or armored simultaneously, or not, as the case may be. I've taken out MBH's, TKM's, Swordsmen with Scythe and Power Hammer both, and other pistoleers as well. Add that since all of these were "friendly duels" and I didn't use Torso shot so as to not pop fire on anyone, and I gimped some of my DoT, yet I still won. Now if I could just get Myst to stop bleeding me when we're duelling for me to feign death for screenies. . . . . .


I can't wait for dual-wield actually. Double damage output over what I currently do would be *very* nice.

I waste tkms andI survive the lame dizzy KD often, in fact i almost never die to a tkm. Last ditch with my 376 dmg DE-10 tends to cut through even comp. Almost nobody worries about energy in pvp so theyallow the resists to be lower. I almost never bother with my geo cause the DE-10 gets the job done. Now I do try not to stand toe to toe with them but I sure as hell can beat a tkm.

yea ive been looking at that template as well.. althought I REALLY dont like that it has BARELY ANY knock down ability. With my combo you have 4 reliable ways to KD. Fire KD. Underhand shot, confusion (dizzy shot) + surpression fire, or charging shot. So now they cant run from you and get away.


and the fencer was just to hit the dodge cap.. with novice fencer and master pistoleer I beleive you hit the 125 cap

You dont know what you are missing if you havent seen the lowblow KD in action. KD from 50m? YUM.


with a ranged dizzy, this template would be FOTM

I've been a master TKM since about October of last year and I just gave up on trying to kill master pistoleers. Hard to catch and hard to knock down and they're shooting you the entire time your're trying.
