Master pistoleer with loot quality CDEF equiped vs Grand/Mottled/Wrix X 35.
Only 4 didn't fall on the first wip, those 4 all fell on the second.

Not what the post asks for, but I thought I'd say it anyway: it works fine for me 
I've been running faction missions these last few hours and storm troopers have been getting knocked over like there's no tommorow.
I find that if you use KD as your opening attack on something that's white/dark blue conn, it won't work. However,hit it with any old special once, then use the KD and 99% of the time (uber mobs not included), they go down.

Im pretty sure it is still functioning properly, had somebody use it on me and i fell on my ass.

Kinda off topic but, Randon, are the devs aware that PMD1 is blocked by saber block? Was this intentional? Its clearly a melee attack, but its treated like a ranged. Does that deal with mitigation to? any help is awesome.

So we've gotten a couple of reports of Pistol Melee Defense 1 not working properly. I'm not experiencing it.
If you are experiencing this problem, make certain you are not using Pistol Melee Defense 2 (bugged)and that you are not facing a high level NPC or creature, who are generally immune to everything. If you are not making either of the above errors and Pistol Melee Defense 1 is bugged for you, please detail the problem below.

Yup, they know. There is presently nothing in the code to separate ranged vs melee specials. It only looks at the weapon equipped. I don't think they are planning on fixing it, as it would require a lot of special coding for a minimal benefit. I'm not too concerned about it either, as I can probably count the amount of times this would have saved a Pistoleer from a Jedi on one hand. What do you think? I could throw it in with the rest of our issues...

Depends really, if it's something that won't matter once the combat revamp is done, then I say leave it, we have more pressing issues like those specials that are completely brokenand the way speed works in the game. If it's something that'll carry on being an issue post CR, then yes, I say have it up there with the rest of our many faults.

went to the corvette last night...... didn't knock down anything!!! maybe it's broken! /cry

KD SBD's with it all the damn time and have never KD one with KD2
Pistol Whip > KD2
