Thread: best weapon to grind?

I am 3040 BH and 0303 pistoleer. I have been using my scatter pistol to gind. Is there a faster way? Republic Blaster or the DX6 or whatever it is? Thanks in advance.

Same question but i'm only pistoleer 0101, i've been using the Featherweight FWG5 but i've just been told that teh DX2 is better at that level. also what do you hunt for while grinding? i been using qunekers but they are only giving me 2500-3000XP per kill now (used to get 4-5k per kill)

I am hitting up Voritor Tracker missions for 5k per kill now. It is going fast but was wondering if there was a better weapon of choice.

Get a good acid damage pistol, (either DX2 or scatter) as high damage as you can afford to grind with, and hunt Huurton stalkers on dantooine. These have vuln. to acid and you will get between 50 and 70k xp per lair.
They don't have too many specials so shouldn't pose too much trouble. at later stages you get 5k per huurton and can hit 75k per lair, so the 450 boxes can be done in 3 trips out

DX2 I think you are referring to 
I find my DX2 much more more efficient that my Scatter Pistol, most thing are vunerable to acid, its AP1 (same as the scatter I know) but in my experience it just seems to hit the target a lot more often than a scatter. Modded Rep Blasters are quite nice especially with a decent damage slice, its just seems that a lot a creatures that give good xp have decent energy resists - if you find a good grinding spot where the creatures have no armour and low or no Energy resists then use the Blaster.
A decent Geo can also rack up the XP if you find the right mobs to use it on....
I grinded most of Pistoleer with a DX2 at the Tusken Fort and on Dantooine\Dathomir. You have a head start as you already have BH Pistols 4, the speed and accuaracy you get from that will make the Pistoleer grind a lot quicker. With a good slice and P'up you should be able to get 250+ max damage from your DX2.

Republic for long range and laying bleeds (mod. republic) and the DX2 up close. Both have AP1 which is 25% more damage if the target is armor 0, and parity if armor 1 (light). For certain things (giant baz-nitch) you will want the Featherweight FWG-5, because of their special vulnerability to heat and the speed a good FWG can hit.
I did the vast majority of the master smuggler/master pistoleer grind with the DX2, republic and FWG-5.
If you're faction farming, and have pistol tech 2, grab a good Geo blaster. Many troops have vuln to stun damage. That and the DX2 are also your best friends in the odd PvP dustup you get into.

I used a Geo Pistol and hunted Dragonets. Get a solo group or AT-ST, agro as many Dragonets at one time as you can, kite them a bituntil they stop and continue to spit at you, line them up into a cone and blast away.

I grinded qunkers all the way to MP using 290 1.4 speed FG5. 3k per kill 50k per lair, do the math. Fast easy.

I grinded up to master pistoleer using giant baz nitchs on dath. the missions pay 11k(no stupid solo group required) the baz nitchs give anywhere from 3500-4000+ xp per and the lair gives 4500-5000xp
used an assortment of pistols fwg-5, mod republic, geo and Dx2

i had a bunch of krayt scatters made (was a krayt hunter with my old template) got them all sliced, and now am grinding with the speed sliced ones.
basically i run around endor and yavin killing everything i see (except things like arachanes as they have 80% acid, where i use another pistol) doing this i can get about 600k xp a hour...btw around 0, 0 endor is the best (not the expolited dwb spawn, but the random lairs around there) there r loads of lairs there, i found 4 bluurg lairs in 1 spot, each bluurg gives around 4.7k xp and about 20 came from each random lair, and there easy to kill spaming healthshot 2 or eyeshot....stoppingshot with xxx3 pistoleer and xx4x bh rips them apart in a few secs.

I'm using a scatter pistol on Grassland Voritor Trackers while grouped with my AT-ST. They are vuln. to acid but they hit kinda hard. 5k per kill. went from 0303 pistols to 3404 in 1.5 buff session. So I'm doing pretty good I think. Thank for the advise tho guys.

I got Novice Pistoleer, and then with a DX2 sliced for damage, I think around 220 max, I did the BH pistol line and Mastered Pistoleer. One gun the whole time, killing quenkers, hurrtons, and if I came across a spawn while I was out anyway, pikets. Took about 3 days to master playing casually, and funny enough, the DX2 went to 0 condition right on the last hurrton I needed to kill. I was getting 1 point of damage, but I had already laid my bleeds and the torsoshot burn on, so it didn't matter.
