get a scatter pistol and head to the squill cave on Tat, you'll master pistoleer in under a day

must be just me but i get 900k capped pistol xp per buff at the allamo just in case u dont know what that is its sts that keep spawning over and over as u loot them of course u got to be a rebel but it comes with its dangers imps know about it now and like to pick off afk rebels grinding xp lol and i use my sliced geo at 290 max damage that i picked up for 50k

If it's the Rebel vs. Imp spawn on Corellia, in the SE region, then yeah, that's our The Spot. 
And no, I'm not an Imp. Die hard Rebel through and through.

You wanna knock out pistol XP?
First off who makes yoru weapons? Get a good WS for yoru pistols. You really should be fine with an FWG,DX2, or Scatter. Depends on who made it. I've seen FW's that deal a great bit of damage.
Second go up the tree that has fan shot first! (I forget which one it is)
Third grabs buffs and go to either the "Tusken Fort" or my personal favorite the "Corsec Stronghold" on Lok. Lay "fanshot" down on the masses.
I personally like the corsec stronhold for pistol xp because on my server it's quiet. No one aside from myself really levels there. It's a steady spawn though a bit slower than the tusken fort. Lastly corsec's will give you about 3k xp per.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I was only grinding to master it. Not to max my xp for the village. I dropped all my FS skills recently and HATE THE VILLAGE!!!! I decided my time left in game was to hunt Jedi now. So sorry.
ps. Did I mention I HATE THE VILLAGE? Oh yeah I did.

Of course it really depends on what you are fighting, but most of the time I have my DX2 equipped for grinding. Low acid resists are common and the AP is a big plus against tougher targets. I also find the Republic Blaster to work well.

at 3040 bh and 0303 pistoleer, you should be speed-capped, just find the highest dmg pistol you have (preferably a scatter or dx2) grab some huurton missions on dant and just pointblankarea1 the lair and just watch everything die around you...... once you get fanshot (you'll have a while to go lol) get yourself a "tank droid" (made with one combat module and 5 healing modules) and have it attack the lair.... simply fanshot the hell out of the lair and move on to the next one
