Thread: Maybe the disarmShot nerf won't be so bad?
Maybe... just MAYBE, it will do what it's supposed to do, and knock the opponent's weapon off, andmaybe disable the ability to equip it for X amount of seconds.
That would be sweet, especially if it was an AoE, better than a knockdown to me.

If you hated it 90% of the time, that means you only used it Properly 10% of the time.
Geist, if you where getting adds from it. and where not knocking them down, then you where doing it wrong.
Riage the adds got knocked down too, problem was sometimes it would hit things that wouldn't have agroed before, things that were too close but didn't look like they were too close. Maybe you never used it yourself. ![]()
actually Geist, i use it on lairs all the time. I've been using it for almost a month now.
like i said, 10% of the time you where using it right.
Did it ever occur to you to move. so the adds would get hit by it too?
or if you take to many to move out of harms way?
It truely sounds to me like you didn't know how to use your skills effectivly.
Currently I've figured out the fire pattern to multitarget shot and have it working.

If ya want to get in a pissing contest fine. but if you where having that much of a problem using disarm shot 2
you had to have been doing something majorly wrong.

you also question'd me about stating i've never used it before.
well. I've used it to take out a group of 30 npc rebs that had 3 bases in a nice little slot. on more then once.
also you don't have to spam it every attack just every 15 seconds give or take a few seconds, for it to work effectively.
When used with multi target shot its great. (but you have to know what your doing).

btw. Pointing out your flaw's is not being beligerent. its being awnest.
It would give your enemy the chance to run for cover till they can rearm or stand there like a dunce and die.
I would like it to do this than dmg the condition of the gun as that's really grief for most.

sorry to kinda flame you but you dont really know what you are doing either. multitarget shot is a waste.
i give you quick lesson on how to use disarm2 pve.
first, run up to layer/base and get at angle where all the targets are in front of you and prefferably with in 64m.
second , disarm2 3-4 times , it will hit them all if a few out of range first shot they will run into range
third, stimpack then finish them off individually since none of them can still act for another 30-40 seconds or alternately keep spamming disarm2 until all dead and use another stimpack.
if you cant use stimpacks your template is gimp and you should rework it. its lame to only use it every 15 seconds give or take. just stack up the kd delay on them in the very begining of the fight. and its even more lame to consider using multi targetshot for any reason.
