Thread: Pistoleers are getting the most love
You guys seem to be getting the best stuff out of the three gun types from the patch. How much really did your defense mods go up? I already know that your ham costs are virtually nothing and now the devs made you guys even deadlier in pvp while Carbineers didnt really get anything useful.

Enlighten me on how the carbine has improved.......dont give me that BS about accuracy and counterattack because they dont really do **edit** for us. Besides our HAM costs are insane and the only thing that is really good for us is knockdown and crippling shot. Carbineers are lucky if they kill a target before the gun kills us. And dont say anything about area attacks because none of them even work properly.

Why are you here? Why don't you go to the Rifleman forum? They gained serious defensive mods. Pure defense that actually helps you and makes people miss you (unlike dodge which does that but has the drawback of preventing you from firing or moving with the animation.) They also got serious accuracy bumps and if I'm not wrong they also got a speed mod. Speed is the name of the game (speed wars galaxies? Maybe not quite the name..) But anyway, they got great bumps. You've come to argue in the pistoleer forums and I'll paraphrase you into reality:
"Our mods that don't do squat are worse than your mods that don't do squat so wah wah wah." Come on, at least pick the right enemy. Firing at pistoleers is essentially "friendly fire" here.

The love that pistoleers got was dodge bonuses, and a generally working cert for the Republic blaster (which ANYONE can use, including carabiners)
This is not much at all, many of our special moves are still broken. While Carabiners got EVEN LESS, this does not mean that Pistoleers got all the love.
What everyone seems to be forgeting is that the patch wasn't to fix anything. It was a marketing attempt so that in thier next game reviews they could try to sell more copies on the fact that they added new content (mounts and cities).
Any profession thatgot a fix should consider themselves lucky they got anything at all.
They probably only have one dev working on fixes and all the rest working on the space expansion or new content to help marketing. They don't care about the ones playing they already got our money, what they want is new subscribers. $40 bucks a pop and everyone plays a couple of months adds up quick when you have 300,000 subscribers. They already made their money back so now its easier for them to work on getting new subscribers then keeping old ones.
Please people go to a LAN gaming center and ask what people have heard about SWG. It makes you wonder why we keep playing, but i think I figured it out(and the devs probably did too) we have hope that it will get better and as long as there is hope then we'll keep giving them our money.
NO TIMER ON CHARGE SHOT, or whatever the ranged kd is called.
Back when all we had was pistol wip and there was no timer we got nerfed in record time. You guys get to keep this little gem so far. How can anyone possibly combat an opponent who can just macro up 4 seconds worth of attacks a kd and just repeat. Crap, make it 3 seconds worth of attack, the kd and then stim and poof, unstoppable 1 on 1 killing machine.
If you don't like your mods, maybe you should look into them. We can give you dodge stats pre and post patch. Can you do the same with counter-attack? Be little less vague in your whimpering and maybe talk to the carbineer correspondant about this, we don't care. We have our own problems to deal with.
Go home, or quit the game. Just leave the carbineer crap in the carbineer forum.
