Thread: Petition: DL44 as Master Pistoleer cert please sign!!!

On the CU, I was disappointed to see that the DL44 is the 3rd worst pistol, the Metal DL44 is a Master Marksman cert (and is a joke because it has a lower DPS than the tier 4 Marksman weapons), and the Republic Blaster has the highest DPS of all pistols
(NOTE: All DPS figures are based on current CU info on TC5...I understand they are subject to change).
I figure the Devs want a noobie to be able to use a DL44 to feel Star Warsy, so I have a solution that allows the noobs to have the DL44, Master Pistoleers to carry a nice looking gun and leave the Republic Blaster at home, and minimal reprogramming...
Petition: Switch the graphics and name of the Master Marksman cert and the Master Pistoleer cert, without switching the stats.
This way, the noobs will have the black DL44, the Master Marksman will get the Republic Blaster, and the Master Pistoleer will get the Metal DL44 and have it be the highest DPS pistol in the game! Finally, rock the universe with Han Solo's pistol (only shiny)!!!

DL44 looks stupid compared to the Republic Blaster?/shrug
DE10 is great, if you can get one (though I don't remember seeing one in any of the movies). This petition is to have it take the place of the completely craftable Republic Blaster, not the lootable DE10 (you know what I mean). Simple concept really.

Though I really just wish there was way to make every pistol viable at master, because seriously, who is going stop at pistols 3?

The DL44 is the most iconic pistol in the original saga, used by the best known pistoleer of the Star Wars saga (sorry Jango fans, but Han was the man), it should be the top pistoleer pistol, not the silly "flash gordon" Republic blaster, which was used by flunkies

Seriously, that is like Leia using the CDEF.
Besides,a gun that is 30+ years old (in this time frame) should not be our best weapon as a pistoleer. Even more reason for the DL44 is the look, bad enough we are stuck with the "killer camcorder" in the DX2, but we should not get stuck with the bad 40's sci fi noir Republic as well.

Actually, I think the DL-44 looks poopy without a barrel added on to make it look likethis . A scope with it would make it look even nicer 
But I read somewhere that we won't see the graphics for stocks, scopes, and barrels anymore

Actually, I am in favor of the more iconic weapons being higher up and more useful. Scout blaster being of them. Would the empire equip all of it's scout troopers with something so weak?
Seriously, lets push for more iconic weapons to be useable. The DL-44, the Scout Blaster, the DH-17.
