Thread: New Cert for DE 10

Last night in TC I noticed that my DE 10 no longer required Master Pistoleer, just a combat level of 54.
Anyone know if this is intended or a bug?
I tried it out on several combintaions (MBH, Master Carbines, Psitols 4/0/0/4, and a all master smuggler/Master TK) and both times I could equip the pistol.
Personally I don't mind as it would let me take MBH and a bit of pistoleer, just wondering if anyone knew if this was the way things were going to be now.

i think this is intended. they dont grant certs anymore at skill boxes and where saying some thing of this nature. but i am not sure.

There's atill a few weapons that require profession certs however, such as the Renegade pistol and the black sun razor knuckler.

certs make me sick. Someone should tell han solo that in episode 5 when he cut the tan-tans belly open with lukessaberhe really shouldent have done that because hes a lvl 45 and not the requiredlvl 46 for that weapon. What was lucas thinking?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA nice nice i like that. ya it pisses me of to but so far i am loving the CU and cant wait to be a pistoler on my suver.

Somebody also need to tell Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan that you can't kill battle droids with one sweep of the saber. And there's no way that Mace could have taken out a Master Bounty Hunter with one swipe to the neck!

Sure he could, that BH had migrated all his stats to mind and forgot to buff, he had then used up too much health using roll to prone and only had about 50 health left.

Have you actually been to TCEP3?
Level system which determines the winner of combat before combat starts.
Funny light shows whenever you do a special move (never saw lights shining out of Han Solo's arse when he fired his blaster in the films - great immersion SOE).
Icons that all look the same, i.e. so cartoony they are out of place in a star wars game. Plus combat is spent peering at them to see which is which and when you can use it.
Crazy action costs which when combined with the fact every shot you take uses action means you can only fire a few times without a rest (Yeah saw Han Solo taking a nap after firing 5 times in the films).
CM is so overpowered every PvP griefer is taking it. No more DOTs say SOE, unless your a CM in which case you can apply 1 every couple of seconds!
A Line of Sight system which allows you to fire through walls but not when you are 1 m away from your target.
Only thing working at the moment is the new music, expect SOE to bugger that up in the couple of weeks left until the CU goes live (yeah right)!

If you dont like it dont play. and for the icons you put them on the tool bar right? well i dont know about you but i know where i put my skills. i think it kinda helps to use your memory. but i dont know if you want to cry about things i dont care. also yes i have been on the TC. also how about you dont spam hte thing that cost the most action??? humm what a consept. To bad CMs dont over power it is even i think ya they posin you but i had posin and a desise on and i didnt die for 5 or 6 min. umm yet again the line of sight is correct. you see you cant shoot through the ground or the walls.

IF you like it go play it - its called EQ 2.
Well, i have a full and enjoyable life (after i finished my education where i learnt how to spell and structure a sentence properly) and I therefore dont memorise the specials and where they are. I am talking about spamming the least action intensive special - that will still drain your action faster than using a spellchecker on something! And just checking on TCEP3 there, you can shoot through some walls and you can be told you cant see a target when you are sharing spit with them. Why should CMs be all powerful PvPers? Thought they were removing DOTs and uber templates from SWG? Well I wish they would!
And finally,
1. How much does SOE pay you to start up an account on the forums and defend this lame dog replacement of a decent combat system with a rubbish one from a SOE fantasy game.
2. Why are most of the people who like the CU brand new to the forums and as erudite and mature as a 10 year old?

To bad i am not a new player. i started a month or two after it came out. i had to get a new char b/c my old one got deleted b/c i took 4 or 5 months off.
