naw this would never work, itd be like 100:1 for the nay-sayers lol.. then they'd nerf it and give the Yesmen uber weapons and armor just because they sucked up to SOE

anyways about the CU....why are you guys fighting over it? If you have played this game for more than a month you know that the devs will always rush thrown together crap and spend half of the time hyping it. Then they rush it into live and everyonewhines about it. I am not very suprised. I have been playing on TC for a few days now and I am not exactly impressed but I will say there are things i like better. I love the new weapons and the armor system. I am really tired of seeing everyone in composite and it just makes more sense. i have been playing just about everything but all today I played Mpistoleer/M rifleman/ some BH and I really like it. Its very different and very simplified. But as a rifleman I feel more like a sniper and as a pistoleer I am getting the star wars feel a lot more. rifleman is tons of fun and when stuff gets too close I whip out a pistol and fan shot the group and it makes sense.
I AM dissapointed with a lot though. I went out to a nest of giant worrts and got my ass handed to me. this was very dissapointing and made me feel like I was in EQ1 slashing at gnoll pups again. And melee was a huge letdown- at launch I was a commando but gave it up post FOTM. Since then I have been a swordsman plus entertainment professions and a few other things. I loved swordsman. I loved my curved sword and all the animations and the sweep attacks, etc etc. I hit up a blue frog for TKA and Fencer- bleh. The attacks look so dumb. I never played TKA but they always had such cool combo animations. Now its likea jab or a kick- totally lame.
I am a little iffy about pistoleer. i like it but I liked it better before. And I was really hoping for dual wield by now

Too funny. You know, just because it's spelled pistoleer in the game doesn't make that the right way, either.

Well, i have a full and enjoyable life (after i finished my education where i learnt how to spell and structure a sentence properly) and I therefore dont memorise the specials and where they are. I am talking about spamming the least action intensive special - that will still drain your action faster than using a spellchecker on something! And just checking on TCEP3 there, you can shoot through some walls and you can be told you cant see a target when you are sharing spit with them. Why should CMs be all powerful PvPers? Thought they were removing DOTs and uber templates from SWG? Well I wish they would!
And finally,
1. How much does SOE pay you to start up an account on the forums and defend this lame dog replacement of a decent combat system with a rubbish one from a SOE fantasy game.
2. Why are most of the people who like the CU brand new to the forums and as erudite and mature as a 10 year old?
